...let them shine.
This fractal design has beautiful details and colors and it looks like the rays of a sun. That is why I gave it the title “A brand new day”.
My beautiful girlfriends beautiful flower at dawn.
Another experiment with metallic blue paper as a background and the flash on my camera… haha, I guess it worked well. I never use my flash, so that’s why this is so experimental, hehe. It’s also the stamen of a hibiscus.
After it rained one day, the sun started shining… and a cool breeze went through the pine trees in my backyard…
Random flower against the sky on a beautiful sunny day! Completely untouched Spring 2008
Floating Peach TShirt / is a special request from a fellow bubbler / from the original design here / ...hope you like her on a tee!
Combination of 3 fractal images. The base: part of a XaoS image. The middle: a tiny Apophysis image. The top: a portion of another XaoS Fractal. I cloned the Apophysis image with a giant fluffy brush until it filled the “canvas.” Then I adjusted the opacity and let the more saturated jewel tones of the base XaoS image shine through, and re-sized it to fit the “canvas.” The “starshine” is a portion of the 3rd XaoS image. The next step was masking everything around the starshine and then applying 8 gradients on top of it to make it glow. The final step was a light effect on the top layer, adjusting the brightness, contrast, and opacity on all layers, and then flattening them. (Photoshop Elements 3) /
love for LIFE….....LOVE to EVERYONE! May the FORCE be with us ALL!
mixed media on canvas 24” x 20” i made this piece when i was in the beginning of a 5 year relationship…. much love and awe going on. the creation began with newspaper on canvas. i have always loved the colors in the grocery store adds… and all the fruit. i don’t remember having a plan for this piece as is usually the case. it appeared to me. as you can see, most of the newsprint is painter over…except the apple and the space around it that forms the eye. the pink and stripes and a few changes on the male character came more recently….after we separated. i have a picture of it before. maybe it should go on red bubble, too. i celebrated when i sold the original for 1200 dollars. the relationship was over and i felt it appropriate that it find a new home …...and it did. it lives in california now. partnership as sacred…...
Something from the vault… another dandelion photo… I just keep discovering these, haha. There’s a gold mine of them on my hard drive. I don’t remember what I used as the background for this, but I edited the saturation to make the red really pop and it reminded me of star bursts. You know the candy, hehe… Enjoy!

These Chunkies have been very therapeutic to create over the holidays, whilst taking a break from red bubble and having my family around. I have many more to come, and although I won’t be on RB as much, I hope to also be doing some serious painting this year…so i look forward 2009 with much anticipation …
this image i created after a dream i had several years ago.. well.. a few years after my accident, a while after i started my therapy. i had difficulties accepting my disability so needed some councelling. this dream was one of the first anchorpoints in my journey.. it shows me, the grown up me, and the child-me walking hand in hand into the setting sun. it was and still is a very strong image for me.. two of my sides having joined, walking the path together… / the images here appear shadowy.. the reason for this is, that here i am an onlooker, describing my dream.. in the dream i was both.. so did not see myself at all.
Made for my crazy old grandmas birthday this year. Didn’t want to give her anything ‘scary, dark or tragical’ so I tried to draw something with a purely positive atmosphere. I think I succeeded, although the cat does look a little evil at last… The text below (in dutch) says: ‘The cat who was so elegant that everyone says hello with a smile and forgets his troubles for a moment…’. Fineliner on Hahnemuhle Fineart Quattro paper, 11,8×11,8 inch. 80lbs. 0,05 & 0,3 pencil width.. about 8 by 8 inches in size. 2009.
Well you know how sometimes things dont look as bright as they should? How life gets to you in ways you never expected? You can change it, you have the power to pull yourself out of anything you get into. you always end up on the brighter side of life, not just me being optimistic its true! Think negative you get negative. Oh and my tip for helping shrink your carbon footprint? Change your light bulbs to energy efficient ones, sure they may cost a bomb but they last a heck of alot longer and use alot less energy, ive noticed a drop in my power bill :) FEATURED: Earth keepers – November 4th 2009 Thank you so, so, so very much!
