...let them shine.
My beautiful girlfriends beautiful flower at dawn.
Another experiment with metallic blue paper as a background and the flash on my camera… haha, I guess it worked well. I never use my flash, so that’s why this is so experimental, hehe. It’s also the stamen of a hibiscus.
“Do fairies exist?” Ophelia asks the flowers around her, hoping that she will spot one amongst the flowers soon. The flowers couldn’t answer her because they have never seen one before. Undeterered, Ophelia set her sights on the next flower kingdom ahead of her. She will continue to journey on her quest in answer to that burning question in her heart. / / You can view and buy my other “In Search For Fairies” at my Zazzle Gallery:
Some more of these wonderful velvety roses, greatest roses ever I swear. I adjusted the white balances when I shot this to give it a more bluish tone. Taken indoors with flash and with a sigma 105 mm macro lens. Enjoy!

Whenever I see sunflowers, their little centers look like happiness to me. They always make me smile. I had several in a small bouquet and moved them this way and that to see what textures and colors would pop. Did you know sunflowers are used to make so many things? They provide humans and animals with food in the form of seeds and oil. The leaves are used as fodder, the flowers yield a yellow dye, and the seeds contain oil and are used for food. The oil is used for cooking, as an ingredient of soaps and paints, and as a lubricant. WOW! What a wonderful little plant. ;o) Still life, Mission Viejo, CA, USA. Experimental captures changing lighting, colors, macro shots. Featured in: Imagewriting Sept 2009
