This is a naturally occuring – i.e. no Photoshop – Smiley Face on a Golden Barrel cactus. The dark spots are dried up flowers that bloomed earlier.

Ophelia received an invitation from the riverside frangipanis to join them in a party. Upon reaching, she was surprised to find out that the frangipanis had thrown a party just for her, to celebrate these new friendship ties. They never had an owl as a friend and they were just as delighted as Ophelia to have found this new companionship. What hospitable flowers! I’m going through my old files and found this of a hibiscus stamen. I love hibiscus, especially the stamen because it’s fuzzy and reminds me of fuzzy lolipops haha. Anyway, I took this with my sigma 105mm macro lens. Enjoy!
