Click on the images below for a more detailed close-up / / “Finches On Parade” is about the communal abstract chatter that one encounters when in amongst a crowd of like-minded personalities. / I have chosen not to emphasize the precise detail of each bird but rather their general shape as they caper around, to give the impression of constant movement. True happiness is doing what you love, and loving what you do. This holds true for laser guns as well.

Now you can purchase this design on a variety of new products including tote bags, cards, ties and even postage stamps! Check it out here! The Reaper by Paul Rees-Jones This is about the Reaper family, / A serious bunch, never too silly. Well, in truth, it’s about one, / One who reaps with a bit of fun. The youngest in the Reaper clan, / Quite a smart, little dead man. He brought a group of playful kids, / To the yard, oh yes he did. And why, you ask, would he save? / Just release them from their graves? When you are a Reaper Grim, / The days are long and awful dim. But to this small little reaper, / Loneliness ran a little deeper. So he made his friendly ghouls, / By breaking about 20 rules. But it’s worth it when the day is done, / Cause this lil Reaper finally has fun!

My daughter allowed me six photographs before she became embarrassed and stopped the shoot. I attached camera to my bike helmet and pre-set the camera to fire on delay release. A bit hit and miss but managed this lovely picture. No wonder she was embarrassed!

this gang of Adelie penguins gave me a great opportunity for quite a series of entertaining photographs as they zoomed busily about their icy playground. This photo has become a symbol of connection and friendship among my own personal group of nearest and dearest friends.

Busch Gardens; Tampa Bay, Florida USA The Emperor Penguin (Aptenodytes forsteri) is the tallest and heaviest of all living penguin species. It is endemic to Antarctica, and is the only penguin species that breeds during the Antarctic winter. Emperor Penguins mainly eat crustaceans (such as krill) but also occasionally take small fish and squid. In the wild, Emperor Penguins typically live for 20 years, but some records indicate a maximum lifespan of around 40 years. The Emperor Penguin should not be confused with the closely related King Penguin or the Royal Penguin. These creatures are loyal to no avail, obtaining ONE mate for all their days and remaining ONLY with that mate til the end. Amazing creatures in so many ways! / _____ / / / ______ / All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. Now you can purchase this design on a variety of new products including tote bags, cards, ties and even postage stamps! Check it out here! ** / Molly the Lil Witch, Oscar and Ophelia by Paul Rees-Jones The night was stormy and rather bleak, / Molly was a little bored witchy freak. She mulled over spells and warmed up her cauldron, / To create some friends to end her boredom. She delicately sewed a doll from rags, / Smiling and singing, a rather cute hag. And when she was done she was bright as a star, / Because held in her hands was the rag boy, Oscar. But soon she thought about the little boys heart, / To be all alone when his life just starts. So she borrowed small string of yarn from his hair, / And fashioned Ophelia, a sister to share. A spell and a cloud of nasty green smoke, / And Molly had made two little doll folk.

We were very lucky with our bear sightings around Spitzbergen in the Scandinavian Arctic, which allowed us to get some nice close-up shots. These cubs were around 19 months old and still very playful. / / / (Spitzbergen – Scandinavian Arctic) / / >< / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /
