If you ever go to Japan and visit Hakone, check it out. / The shrine nearby is dedicated to married couples, my Mother-In-Law prayed her for us and a year later I got engaged and married my Husband. !

A Ryokan in Hakone. You sleep on futons on tatami matting (straw). it is surprisingly comfortable. The baths at the Ryokan draw water from natural hot springs, there is no better way to relax. It was interesting to share breakfast with some of the Japanese tourists at the Ryokan, some had beer with their traditional Japanese breakfast. ========== You may find my website worth a peek ==========

Hakone Balloon Flower / Unique double flowers! A compact perennial grown for its white and blue flowers. Flower buds are completely round and appear inflated, but suddenly open into wide-mouthed, upturned bells. Lovely in the summer border.

Hakone Gardens, in Saragota, CA, were originally developed in 1915 by a couple who were inspired by the Pan Pacific Exhibition and displayed their love for Japanese culture. / It has gone through several different transitions and ownerships since then, but always keeping with the culture and tranquility of the Japanese garden theme. / I had a chance in between appts this afternoon to enjoy it’s peaceful tranquility and beauty. I hope you like it.
