Made this in tribute to my favourite Facebook group – how postmodern can you get? (And yes, there’s a sneaky © next to the Disney typeface.)
Horses are very protective of one another, especially when their is impending danger or bad weather. (General rule is Fight or Flight, 99% of the time its flight for horses) These spanish arabs here give the feel of siblings, both young, inexperienced, learning the way of life in the wild. Me and Jacob (15) been playing!! we’re having an ongoing debate in our house regarding how Jacob should wear his hair… Dad wants an afro, lol, but I’m not so sure. (Jacob wants cornrows of some sort.) We thought we would play around and see how it looks. (This kind of work is definitely not my strong suit, but I had fun!!)

I took this late in the evening waiting to Cross the River Nile. Hundreds of Children work along the banks of the Nile from sunrise to sunset harvesting reeds and fodder for to sell. I witnessed children as young as 5 years old carrying heacy loads on their head. They have no schooling and face many dangers. They also suffer from Jiggers. This is a parasite that enters their bodies through their feet and legs as they spend many hours in water, It causes pain and in many cases causes terrible disabilities. At the end of each day they are blessed if they can get one meal from what they have laboured all day for. Can you hear their cry, Can you feel their pain ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALE OF MY ART< ADN DONATED ART GOES TO HELP THE EXTREME POOR IN ISOLATED AND RURAL VILLAGES IN AFRICA.
