This is what was remaining this evening around 5:30, and after a day of horrific wind, and thunderstorms moving through Northern California. We had a severe wind warning; big rigs were pulling over on the I5 and the wind was almost impossible to drive in, gusting in every direction. The rain came down in torrants, and window wipers didn’t seem to help much and then just as quickly as it moved in, it was gone…the sun was shining through the clouds and the sun was beginning to set…..this is what was left, just Beautiful and Wild! ___ All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. This is the cloud that produced a large amount of hail that damaged a lot of Sydney properties on the 9-12-07. We were fortunate only to catch the edge of it at home. Taken with the wide angle lens at 17mm, I still couldn’t fit the whole cloud in the frame!!

I spent most of my visit to Kew Gardens staring at the ground! So many patterns in the leaves and patches of frost, and the silver and golden bronze colours so beautiful.
Moments, before the twister hits with hail the land – darkness and a spark of light. It looks like a fist of heaven. Photo was taken east of Calgary, around the town of Gleichen by Ursula Tillmann

I have struggled with finding faith my entire life. This photo is a represntation of my grasping towards Mary, the blessed virgin, the women to whom I could relate as child, in an effort of clutch her peace, her wisdom, her divinity. I, a red haired, Irish Catholic girl, lost. Again. And yet, I wonder always, is it really there? For her grace and poeace always eluded me. So here I am. Sinner. Artist. Nudist. Human. Pray for me. Pray for us ALL: Hail Mary, Full of Grace / The Lord is With Thee / Blessed art thou amngst women. / Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. / Holy Mary, Mother of God / Pray for us Sinners, now / And at the hour of our death. Amen I dedicate this to the amazing Anne McGinn.
