Hi all, Just a quick note to let you know that I have fixed some bugs and updated my RB utilities. Here is the summary: RB Utility – Top Tens (displays your wins and top-ten placements) / Now displays WINs as well as Top Tens. Also there are two cut & paste options for journals (full description) and for your profile (just the icon), both with “hover text” that shows when the cursor is placed over the picture. RB Utility – All Challenges & Entries (shows what groups are running challenges and what you have entered) / Now handles descriptions with single quote marks correctly, has correct links for the artwork, shows the correct time left for the challenge and now gives the option on the login screen, for choosing to see only Open or Voting challenges (default is both) RB Utility – Which groups is my art in (shows all of your artwork with a list of which groups each has been accepted in) / No updates yet, but expect a major re-vamp soon, to speed it up, as well as a sibling utility for showing the same information but sorted by group (i.e. by group, which art pieces you have submitted to that group) – watch this space… RB Utility – My Features (cut & paste links to your latest features) / Although this information is readily available in RB, this utility provides the feature descriptions in RB format, ready for cut & pasting into journals and profiles (similar to the output of the “Top Tens” above) RB Utility – All My Work (A “wall” with all your work on one page) / New utility that gives you a thumbnail wall of all your work on one page. Clicking on a thumbnail will take you to the editing page for that work. Invaluable if you have over 100 photos and can’t remember what page they are on! I hope you find these useful and enjoy using them. I have written these for my own use, and I have become entirely dependent on them. If you have other ideas for improvements or other utilities that you think would be useful, drop me a line! Regards / George (29 March 2009)

  • RB Utility - Which Groups is my Art in?

(apologies for the re-posting, I was told by RB to make this a journal entry rather than a “writing” entry – please re-favorite this entry instead) Calling all Groupies… I’ve recently been preparing a number of RB utilities to make my life easier, which I will share with all of you to use. This is a utility for displaying each of your art works, with a list of which groups it has been submitted to. All on a single page. Disclaimer: this has nothing to do with RB, don’t go blaming them if it goes wrong. This is just me, making my life easier and sharing it out :-) Comments, suggestions, criticism all welcome! :-) My Art in Groups: / http://www.documentmanagement.org.uk/rb/RBartgroups.php By default, it displays the latest 20 pieces of art, but you can change that number up or down on the login screen. Use 999 to get everything. WARNINGS / 1) This utility will take a while to run. It has a lot to do to collect that info. Be patient! / 2) The utility does not store passwords, but it doesn’t use encryption either. If your RB password is the same as your bank account’s – Change it! / 3) Don’t get confused by the checkboxes next to the groups name, they don’t actually do anything! I hope you find it useful. Bookmark this post and come back whenever you want a summary of which groups your art has been posted in. / Regards, George Last updated: 31 October 2008

If you are into RB challenges, one of the biggest frustrations is trying to remember what you have entered in which challenge, and trying to remember to keep checking if your entries have finished in the top ten. This little utility, goes through all the challenges in your groups that have completed, and shows you any entries that have finished in the top ten of the challenge, including their ranking. It shows them in reverse order, so the latest ones come first. In addition (if you leave the checkbox ticked on the login screen) it will print out the exact text you need to cut & paste into your RB journals for each top-ten. UPDATE: 14 Jan 2009 / New version, now shows winners as well as top-tens. It also includes hover text for the images with today’s date included, ready to cut & past into your journals/profiles Disclaimer: this has nothing to do with RB, don’t go blaming them if it goes wrong. This is just me, making my life easier and sharing it out Top Tens: / http://www.documentmanagement.org.uk/rb/RBTopTens.php WARNINGS / 1) This utility will take a while to run. It has a lot to do to collect that info. Be patient! / 2) The utility does not store passwords, but it doesn’t use encryption either. If your RB password is the same as your bank account’s – Change it! / 3) The “limit” on the login screen defaults to 5, that means 5 pages of completed challenges, not top tens, which should be adequate for most cases. / 4) There is one known problem: If the group has had a new challenge completed after the one with your placement, your entry may appear out of order. I hope you find it as useful as I have. Bookmark this post and come back whenever you want to get a handle on your challenges & entries. Comments, suggestions, criticism, other ideas, all welcome! :-) Regards, George

  • MUCH BETTER VIEWED LARGER Thanks for dropping in and viewing this work, your comments and if i am lucky favouriting is truly appreciated A Brief History of the Royal National Park Sydney / The Royal National Park on the southern border of Sydney, New South Wales Australia, is Australia’s first National Park and after Yellowstone in the U.S.A. was the second National Park to be established in the world. The park was originally named The National Park but this was changed in 1955 after a quick visit by Queen Elizabeth II to the Royal National Park. It was created as a people’s park in 1879. Only 32km from the city centre of Sydney it is ideally located for Sydney locals and tourists alike to escape the pressures of the big city and relax in natural Australian bush, forest and coastal surroundings. The park covers an area of 132 sq km. / Royal National Park Sydney Map… National Park Bushwalking & Hiking / There are many walking tracks in the Sydney Royal National Park and ample access points to reach them. The diversity of the terrain offers a great way of getting to know the real Australia from clifftops to the coast. / Overview of Walk Tracks… / Don’t miss the virtual tour of the Coast Walk… Getting to Royal National Park Sydney NSW Austalia / The Royal National Park is readily accessible. There are four railway stations (Engadine, Waterfall, Heathcote and Loftus) with nearby access to the Royal National Park walking tracks. By car the park is just off the Princes Highway and if you are planning on seeing a large part of the park then a car will make it easier. There is also a ferry service that runs from Cronulla to Bundeena at the northen boundary of the Royal National Park Equipment: Nikon D300, and SIgma 10-20mm / Technique: 7 bracketted images processed with Photomatix PRo image resized, then saved as a 16 bit tiff. This is the one you’ve all asked me for… If you are into RB challenges and many groups, one of the biggest frustrations is trying to remember what you have entered in which challenge, and keeping track of which challenges are open. This has been bugging me almost since I joined RB. It took me a while to figure this one out, but here its. Use the link below, to get a report that across the 1100+ groups that are hosted on RB… shows… what challenges are running in each group how long each challenge is running for (open or voting) if you are a member of each group or not what art you have submitted to that challenge, if anything All of these… on one web page (so you can print it) with live links, so that you can directly jump to the group, challenge or art piece UPDATE: 15 January 2009 / New version which fixes single quotes in challenge names, corrected links to your work and an extra option on the login screen to choose if you want to only see “Open” or “Voting” challenges – the default is both. Disclaimer: this has nothing to do with RB, don’t go blaming them if it goes wrong. This is just me, making my life easier and sharing it out Comments, suggestions, criticism, other ideas, all welcome! :-) All Challenges & Entries: / http://www.documentmanagement.org.uk/rb/RBwhatsubmitted.php WARNINGS / 1) This utility will take a while to run. It has a lot to do to collect that info. Be patient! / 2) The utility does not store passwords, but it doesn’t use encryption either. If your RB password is the same as your bank account’s – Change it! I hope you find it as useful as I have. • PREDATORS
    by Larry Butterworth

    US$3.99–US$91.20

There have always been scandals and crooks in the history of American money, but our predator class is a distinct creation of the late 20th century. I believe there is no way the counter-class made up of regulators, watchdogs and do-gooders and hack columnists can match wits with the predator class. Today’s piles of money are so huge, great fortunes can be amassed by swiping the tiniest of slices in the wiliest of ways long before picked pockets are discovered.

Hello my friends, Done! All the utilities are back on line and working. Assuming RB leave their new cute interface alone (they changed the way they present groups three times while I was fixing it!!!), we should be good for a while. And If not, I’ll just have to fix them again… LOL. (For those of you that understand what this means, I dream of the day there is a RedBubble API or SDK…). Any comments or ideas, just bmail me! Oh, I almost forgot! I’ve added a new utility that several of you have asked me for – check the bottom of the list! FIXED: / RB Utility – Top Tens (displays your wins and top-ten placements) / Now displays WINs as well as Top Tens. Also there are two cut & paste options for journals (full description) and for your profile (just the icon), both with “hover text” that shows when the cursor is placed over the picture. FIXED: / RB Utility – All Challenges & Entries (shows what groups are running challenges and what you have entered) / Now handles descriptions with single quote marks correctly, has correct links for the artwork, shows the correct time left for the challenge and now gives the option on the login screen, for choosing to see only Open or Voting challenges (default is both) Working OK: / RB Utility – Which groups is my art in (shows all of your artwork with a list of which groups each has been accepted in) / No updates yet, but expect a major re-vamp soon, to speed it up, as well as a sibling utility for showing the same information but sorted by group (i.e. by group, which art pieces you have submitted to that group) – watch this space… FIXED: / RB Utility – My Features (cut & paste links to your latest features) / Although this information is readily available in RB, this utility provides the feature descriptions in RB format, ready for cut & pasting into journals and profiles (similar to the output of the “Top Tens” above) FIXED: / RB Utility – All My Work (A “wall” with all your work on one page) / A utility that gives you a thumbnail wall of all your work on one page. Clicking on a thumbnail will take you to the editing page for that work. Invaluable if you have over 100 photos and can’t remember what page they are on! NEW: / RB Utility – Am I a featured member? / New utility that works through the list of the groups you are a member of, and tells you if you have been featured as a member. BEWARE: If you belong to a lot of groups this will take a LONG time to run. Be patient… Regards / George (16 May 2009)

    by Virginia N. Fred

    US$4.66–US$106.40

The secrets we hold within ourselves sometiimes tear us apart / A shadow on our spirit and soul, the weakend heart of loneliness / A secret untold, or yet to unfold, the burden of knowing. / You try to do it all right and it seems to be going so well and / out of the blue your world crashes like a tidalwave of uncertainties and / unrelentless guilt knowing that somehow you caused what secrets are held within so deep or the thought of why? and when? did it all go so wrong, / To hold those cherished moments that seem so long ago, and now, right now / you have the understanding that there isnt a thing you can do ,because all of a sudden the heart has hardened, and there is for some reason no way back into it , what will become of it all, how will it all play out, if you play by the rules / the farther you are pushed, how can it be that it all went so wrong, secrets within will tear at your heart and tear you apart, we can only hope that the future will bring strength into our lives and maybe just maybe we can get it all back to some sense of reasoning, to some sense of forgiveness, because no matter, what you may think , I will always be there!!!
