Having walked a number of kilometers up the coast…Storm clouds were looming, which of course offer fantastic photo opportunities…but…of course the inevitable happened getting caught out in this downpore k’s from the car…drenching my wife and I to the bone…ah, all part of the fun…hehe…. / I do love this shot for it’s simplicity…sand, sea, stormy sky… / thanks for looking…cheers, Rob.
Photoshop and Wacom tablet. I used a photo for the background and painted the rest using references.
Taken from home of the early morning light streaming across the paddocks and cattle yards…and low mist nestled amongst the hills and gullys… DebsPhotos
Regrowth after Bushfires in Australian Snowy Mountains
Lovely sight to start the day of with….
Just prior to sunrise over Corio Bay, on what was promising to be a rather wet and stormy day, at Griffin’s Gully, Geelong. These promising signs were spoken of by Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, in the Bible, centuries ago. Matthew 16:1-3 The Pharisees and Sadducees Seek a Sign 1 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. /
Image taken on an excursion with fellow photographers Di Jenkins and Tony Lin A damp time was had by all.
Had a soft gentle feel to this morning…quiet and still…gentle awakening.. DebsPhotos
Another ‘foggy” from the front yard…

The hidden treasures of Australia are often overlooked… Australia has so many caves… here is the beauty of Stockyard Gully Tunnel, Eneabba, Western Australia at twighlight! The region surrounding Eneabba has many amazing caves.
Looking down towards one of the neighbours place… low mist just starting to flow off after covering the land for the night!!!
The fog just seemed to lie there for ages this morning….quiet content to “hang around” for awhile….
Had a wonderful misty, foggy morning here the other day….it ‘hung’ around for over an hour….long time for here!!! Had to keep going out taking photos while it was there!!! Only took about 200 images…LOL.. DebsPhotos
Another nice misty, foggy morning!!!! Like how the gum trees slowly appeared as the mist starts to roll on its way!!! DebsPhotos
Morning fog gently starting to move from its night resting place….

Personally I think there is nothing common about it! It’s botanical name is: Calochilus robertsonii. This little beauty was photographed today at Sinclare’s Gully Winery & Cellar Door at Norton Summit in the Adelaide Hills. It is the only eco- certified cellar door in the hills & the wine is very nice. They are also restoring the bush, and it is home to some wonderful native orchids and plants, as well as some stunning bird life such as the Sacred Kingfisher & the Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo. It was a wonderful afternoon. We had a tour through the bush & then lunch & wine under the magestic candle bark trees….which included a pair of Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos in plain view up amongst the branches. I can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon, good company, food & wine, whilst relaxing amoungst our stunning native vegetation & wildlife…pure bliss! Sinclare’s Gully Winery & Cellar Door
Taken in the morning with the fog rising and a dark storm passing behind at sea!!

THE VALLEY OF MY SOUL As I came down the mountain / Upon the steps of pure gold The valley beyond / A sight to behold The colour unending / Like the depths of my soul Greens, reds and gold / ‘Twas a valley to behold Trees reached up / To skies of azure blue Branches reached out / Like arms upheld to you Nature was presenting itself / With such a wonderful scene / In the valley of my dream. – © C J Lewis, Katoomba, 1992 / MCN:C3AC4-3142C-54ABA
