During a gorgeous day, when I saw this Seagull posing for me, as if it was / a perfect portrait, I didn’t hesitate to take this incredible shot.
sea gull
One of the amazing sea gulls that live near my home. The are so friendly they will eat out of your hands. They will also bite your fingers off if you are not careful too!
Could happen…couldn’t it? / Acrylic 11” X 13”
Not the most obvious word when thinking of the loud, raucous seagull, but this picture of a young gull coming into land on Brighton Pier is one of my favourites. Even after my pal advised that it ‘could look really good if I photo-shopped it’ – thanks friend! :D
Didn’t realise there were two birds in this photo until zooming in, which was nice. This young gull is cadging a lift until he passes his flying test. Where’s the L plate?
Gull on Brighton Pier, April 2009
This is a photo of gulls on Brighton Beach. [ :D ]
Two gulls cut from a fairly dull blue background and placed on a slightly more dramatic one.

Took this of a Laughing Gull
very large sea gull
This patient and obliging Seagull was perched on the railing at the end of Brighton Pier, UK. It seemed perfectly happy to be photographed and not in any rush to fly off in search of food.
On Brighton pier there was a frenzy of activity as visiting tourists were feeding the seagulls. They were coming at me from all angles but I was determined to catch one in full flight. Patience is a virtue and thank goodness for digital cameras.

Mono Lake, California is quite unusual! / Spring weather brings water down from the Yosemite NP into the lake, but there is no rivers leading out of it. The only way water can leave is to evaporate, leaving these stacks of mineral deposits. Would have loved to have been here at sunrise, but not this trip.
With a flutter of wings, a gull lands near others on a wharf at sunset. Nova Scotia.
