  • A very narrow slot canyon appropriately named Spooky Gulch twists and turns for several hundred meters through a dry desert landscape. Its walls tower many meters overhead while the opening in front of you seems to get smaller and smaller. Those hikers that are both brave and thin enough to fit through will find that they are able to make it to the opposite side. At its narrowest point, the little canyon is only about 30 centimeters wide! [Escalante National Monument] [Spooky Gulch info and photos] / Copyright © 2004 Brian W. Schaller – All rights reserved. • Mayflower Gulch August
    by Paul Gana

    US$3.99–US$106.40

Taken near Copper Mountain, Colorado. The road to this site has gotten progressively worse since even as early as last year and now 4 wheel drive is recommended when just a year ago it wasn’t, still a very worth while drive. To the south on highway 91 from the pull off to this road is a nice small reservoir called Clinton Reservoir, you can view the mountains in the background from the right. Mt. Fletcher at 13,980 feet is visible on the right side of the ridgeline
