  • Music is one of the best ways to communicate around the world. It is not a language that we need to learn. Everybody has a special song that brings back good, happy, sad or romantic moments The image in the T-shirt is also available as card

  • What do you get when you put my bullet belt, my shecter, me in cheetah stilettos and fishnet and a 10 second timer? you get this motha licker / (haha, old gregg reference) like the common “sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll” motto, i’ve put my interpritation on it. sex (the fishnets and stilettos) drugs (bullet belt) rock n’ roll (guitar) / now for the whole drugs thing, its a common thing among rock stars to be druggies or alcoholics, and the music scene i’m most into is the punk/ska scene, with one of the trademarks being the bullet belt (and my zebra guitar strap fits in nicely with it)

  • John Lennon played the Rickenbacker 325 ‘58 on most of the tracks on The Beatles Debut album, Please Please Me and since then many other guitarists have turned to Rickenbacker Guitars. / George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Pete Townshend, Brian Jones, Paul Weller, Johnny Marr, Noel Gallagher. And the man from Decca said guitar groups were on their way out….Looks like he was wrong.

  • Inspired by the classic Beatle’s tune of the same name. I’ve always loved this song and have had this vision of a weeping guitar in my head for years before I attempted to photograph it. ~ I look at you all see the love there that’s sleeping / While my guitar gently weeps / I look at the floor and I see it need sweeping / Still my guitar gently weeps I don’t know why nobody told you / how to unfold you love / I don’t know how someone controlled you / they bought and sold you I look at the world and I notice it’s turning / While my guitar gently weeps / With every mistake we must surely be learning / Still my guitar gently weeps I don’t know how you were diverted / you were perverted too / I don’t know how you were inverted * / no one alerted you I look at you all see the love there that’s sleeping* / While my guitar gently weeps / I look at you all / Still my guitar gently weeps Oh, oh, oh / oh oh oh oh oh oh oh / oh oh, oh oh, oh oh / Yeah yeah yeah yeah / yeah yeah yeah yeah

  • Since music is such an important part of my life, I decided to make a drawing dedicated to this love. Sadly, I cannot play an instrument myself, but I just love listening to music, as it can make me so happy, or make me feel inspired, or just as something to listen to when I feel sad. This shirt is also inspired by my youngest sister, who recently started to learn how to play the guitar. =) For the original drawing, you can go here /

  • Yup, still workin’ on our studio promotion book!! / This time it`s the guitar effects pedals… we`ve got well over 500 of them! / So not easy to figure out a way to show them all without going way over the top, but at the same time let our guitar wielding customers know we`ve got lots of candy to keep `em sweet. SO, we decided to take about 100 of the coolest ones and get some closeups of the best features. It took me a while to figure out how to place eveything on the A3 size page so all the vertical and horizontal shots fit, but once I got the format sussed it was just a question of getting anal and cropping and sizing all the takes to order. We`re hoping this picture will attract the enthousiasts and intrigue them as to what our studio has to contribute to their musical inspiration. It`s kinda fun to look deep and pick out the details… lots of guitarists will recognize lots of the pedals. One of the most revered manufacturers, ZVex, did a custom bass pedal for me with american flag motif and a personalized signature… top and bottom of that one are midway down on the left side. Doesn`t get much cooler than that!!! Try the large view… and thanks for looking!

((Details: Image created in photoshop, abstract/visionary/surreal/digital art tshirt design by Leah McNeir, 2009. This design features the silhouette of an acoustic guitar with a treble clef emblazoned on the guitar body, a raven clasping a musical note, and our inner metronome- the human heart, branching out like a Celtic Tree of Life’s limbs & roots, with color details of veins as in a circulatory system resonating the rhythm of life. )) / Thank you to all who voted in the MUSIC MACHINES challenge held by Redbubble and DEMO! ‘Rhythms of the Heart’ has come in 3rd place in the public voting portion of this challenge!
