Self Portrait. I’ve become a bit of a solitaire addict as of late, so I guess you could call this my Guilty Pleasure!! / Experimenting with my new wireless remote, which is a bitch to use by the way. This is my White Rabbit photo for my Alice in Wonderland Series, it’s not quite the same style, so I haven’t made a big thing out of it, just tacked it on the end. But yes. It’s the white rabbit. Canon 450D. No geeky stuff, I can’t be bothered, it’s not like you miss it. ...I must admit though, I didn’t take the picture of the cards (shock horror!!) because I couldn’t find any. Instead, you can find it here somewhere in the middle of the page.. I’m sorry guys!! Cross-processed and the like on Photoshop CS3. During a relatively peaceful 2002 protest against the World Bank in Washington, D.C., anti-war demonstrators began to change the situational climate of the march. Tensions between protesters and police, who were expecting a violent demonstration, began to rise. Police began to arrest everyone that they managed to surround inside Pershing Park, guilty, as well as innocent bystanders alike. In relative anticipation of the police’s reaction, this young man wrote the telephone numbers of civil defense lawyers on his arms before the demonstrations even began.

This is a forty-four year old picture of me in an actual police lineup. At the risk of disappointing anybody, I am not the criminal here; I was employed by the police department when they arrested two scam artists caught trying to flee the area with some little old lady’s life savings. Four female employees were rounded up to stand in the lineup. Despite putting on as guilty a look as I could manage, the victim correctly identified the two desperados. / /

This was meant to go on the inside of the EP but the band went for a different image (too grisly perhaps?). The idea was to have “Innocent” on the cover looking all cute and … well innocent and then you open up the EP to find this very naughty girl. / Anyways that was the idea. / I’m not sure I got the whole reverse image down properly but I think the concept was still a winner.

A wallaby (actually the same genus as kangaroos, but who’d think to check?) eating a potato stolen probably from the potato farm next door, and fed to him-or-her by some kind hippies. The drought, you see. Got to look after the native wildlife ;) Isn’t it only primates who are supposed to have opposable thumbs? Don’t tell the scientists! (Yes, it’s a trick … “primates are the only mammals with opposable thumbs” is often quoted … well! marsupials such as koalas and this wallaby are not mammals! ... and also … he’s not really gripping it with his thumb properly … but koalas and possums really do have proper thumbs, just like us and the apes and monkeys… even though the koala has theirs on their hind limbs.)
After playing in the water all day long and then drying off, Jazz (Boykin Spaniel) decided to sneak back down for a late day swim even though she knew she wasn’t supposed to.Not sure which she likes better-eating or swimming!!! /

The shot is a bit too blurry for my liking, but it gives a sense of the tension that was felt that day. Shot on bulk rolled Ilford 100 with Nikon N90s
