An age where every middle class kid is filled with faux rebellion and idle away their pocket money on mass produced rebellion wear. An age grown tired of futile jabs at the real world from hypocritical little fingers. A new hero was needed. One who realised the inevitable on rush of mediocrity and mainstream is unstoppable and the true rebels were those that realised early on got on board. I can think of no-one that better encapsulates this ideal then Paris. I hope that all children may grown up to follow her credo: Grow up rich, do nothing and get richer. Hasta la mediocridad siempre….Like, whatever.
Che Guevara – (June 14, 1928 – October 9, 1967) 40 years gone but never forgotten.
I thought i would have a crack at a classic image here, rights of passage and all, or something…which is a lot harder than it first looks. The original is so strong and a symbolic image, so yeah i found it hard. I most like the title i came up with for this one. - The quote in the title, ” One mans freedom fighter is another mans terrorist ”, i once heard a friend of mine say about Che Guevara…not sure if it was his quote or not, but either way it always stuck in my head…yes, if i really wanted to know i would google it! / Anyway, i thought i would try and capture those polar opposites here by creating a Rorschach Test (Ink Blot), Grim Reaper vs Che, one looks up, the other looks down, text forward then backwards…you get the gist! - Anyway enjoy!
Iconic image on Cuban Ministry of the Interior, based on Alberto Korda’s March 1960 photo. During Guevara’s tenure as Minister of the Ministry of Industries (MININD) from 1961 to 1965, this building was the MININD’s headquarters and his office was on the top floor. Monkey magic!
A face of one of the biggest marxist revolutionaries in the 50’s and 60’s..
what was once a powerful image of a political icon now seems debased through its saturation… so i thought i’d add to it!
Act in order to achieve the greatest good for the greatest number of turtles.
I think I’ll leave the interpretation open on this one. How do you interpret it…?
This is my version of the famous Andy Warhol shot. But I put borders on mine.
This great stencil by DOLK is on a remaining section of the Berlin Wall – East Germany (Eastside Gallery). You could definitely find a political statement in here if you want to or just enjoy the image for its humor.
More crossovers. I just couldn’t resist throwing these two together. Somehow it just works. Che Guevara + Chewbacca = Chebacca
Iconic image with a Scottish twist.

Joker: “See, I’m a man of simple tastes. I like dynamite…and gunpowder…and gasoline! Do you know what all of these things have in common? They’re cheap!” Enjoy the shirt!
This is a tribute to the brightest man in Lithuania. If you would like to find out who he really is, I believe, there’s a page in wikipedia about him somewhere (it might be on lithuanian wiki, but the internet has some really good translators :). Algimantas Jurgis Čekuolis – Che Guevara style! Enjoy! *This is a first T-Shirt design under the Green Cow Creative flag!
T-shirt in honour of Che’s recent victory in the Dead Revolutionary DJ Championships. Che took out Karl Marx in the final with a combo of slick mixing and funky Latin infused house which proved more crowd friendly than Marx’s uncomprimising industrial techno and three deck wizardry. Check out a few more of my Ts /
Chey Guevara’s image has for a very long time been an icon & Heath Ledger created an icon when he brought the Joker to life in The Dark Knight. / I decided to blend the fictional character of the Joker with the Iconic image of Chey Guevara. / I seldom have problems when it comes to titles but in this instance I’m struggling. The current title is a working title for now. Hopefully I’ll come up with a better one soon. / I suspect this will be the first & only T-shirt of its kind anywhere on Redbubble & possibly in the World; but then I would say that wouldn’t I. / Updated 18/06/09
Che Guevara Obama-style!
Night of Museums, an inspiring manifestation that took place on a fine summer evening last year in Belgrade. One ticket opened the doors of many museums on that night. / I believe that many will recognize this photo. It is famous Che Guevara portrait made by Rene Burri. Obviously I was not the only one interested in this charismatic photo and luckily they even helped me to get more appealing composition :) / And again for the reference, FujiFilm FinePix F30 Zoom compact camera was used for capturing this photo.
This is a picture of Charles Darwin, done in the style of the infamous Jim Fitzpatrick stylized version of the Alberto Korda photograph “Guerrillero Heroico”. With the slogan, “Vive la Evolucíon!”
