  • Pablo was at the wedding with his Mom and Dad, dads sister, Kirstens wedding to Mike to be exact but he decided to keep a low profile. / Taken in Co. Kerry, Southern Ireland in the late 1990’s.

  • / MY GALLERY Mouse on yellow leaf. He might be cute but he is a wild mouse. I got a few shot of him before he decided to run back to nature. I read one book about animals one day and I found out that this little fellow is a little harvest mouse (micromys minutus). He is quite rare in the islands in Estonia. (Picture is taken in Valjala Saaremaa Estonia)(harvest mouse, pisihiir, micromys minutus)

  • Original in 2b pencil, sepia added. He’s being kept watched upon while the Vampire sleeps the day away

  • i do allot of sketching when i go out to eat for some reason. here is the result on a guest check.

  • Dainty butterfly on an antique tea cup.

  • Did just today (30 September, 2008). i drew this on paper i soaked in coffee around 10 years ago, to give it an aged vintage look. Hand drawn in No.2 pencil & 2B pencil. This is the second of the train stations the guest is taking to get to Transylvania where the Vampire awaits in his castle (and of course the guest has no clue is host is a Vampire). One more train station, in Buda-Pesth, then the rest of the trip will be by carriage.

  • For the Vampire Series, but going to re do & have more emphasis on the guest & his fiance. This might be the first photo (still practising making these drawings look like photos, lol), this is the beginning where he is leaving London for his trek to Transylvania to the Vampire’s castle. Trains all the way til he gets to Bistrita where he takes a carriage to Borgo Pass where he meets the Vampire’s coach. / One of the main reasons i have not been on so much (and i do apologize) is i have been doing research for the last 2 weeks or so, though the story is fiction, the railway stations were real, the year is 1890, so i am looking for data and photos, or illustrations of several different railway stations, and scenery. He is leaving from the St. Pancras Railway Station in London, The Midland Hotel is next to the Railway Station where he and his fiance are having a goodbye tea in The Moroccan Coffee House. Then he catches the train to Munich, Via Paris & Stuttgart. Then From Munich to Vienna, on to Budapest, then to Bistrita, where he takes the coach. i’m hoping to do all these in the drawings that look like photographs, because he is taking photos of his trip with his Kodak camera. The photos at that time were circular. i left the paper without the black, such a pretty brown (from coffee staining)

  • Layering again in PhotoShop. Sort of the same but i put the guest & his finance further out & found a photo of an old time butler

  • this is the guest room of the Ca D Zan / ( Sarasota, Florida, Ringling Brothers Museum) The Ca D’Zan The sixth of the seven Ringling brothers of Baraboo, Wisconsin, John Ringling was one of the founders of the famous circus. He and his wife vacationed in Sarasota in the early 1900’s and purchased their bayfront property in 1912. , Ca d’Zan, now stands. Combining their love for Sarasota with their love of baroque art, they decided to build a museum on the estate grounds and fill it with the finest paintings and objects that they could ever buy. When John Ringling died, he left to the State of Florida over 600 paintings, including the world’s largest private collection of works by Peter Rubens, and lots of other objects – prints, drawings, sculptures, antiques, pottery, jewelry, and furniture. Today, visitors from around the world visit this wonderful complex looking over Sarasota Bay. The Art Museum, Ca d’Zan, the Ringling Mansion and the Museum of the Circus are all open to the public for a single admission. The beautifully landscaped grounds contain over 400 kinds of Florida trees, plants and flowers, garden figures and Mable’s historic rose garden. The Banyan Cafe is open for lunch or a snack. Visitors can browse through three gift shops located on the grounds. Sony Cybershot DSC H 7

  • Single JPG / Suburban Scenes by Mike Savad / Mike’s Americana Squidoo Lenses

  • My head looks a little big here, as I was using my 10-20 mm lens, so there’s a bit of distortion…but I kinda liked it anyway. :)

  • A concept from a dream I had….. / “The Mad Hatters Tea Party” I contacted good friend and good sport Jane Keats and asked if she’d like to collaborate with me on this series. Lighting – 6 Tealights / 59 Sec / f4.5 / 17mm / ISO 100 / Processed in Lightroom w~ “Dave on the Hill 05” Preset + fiddling / Exported to Photoshop CS3 – Dodging/Burning/ Noise Reduction and minor Sharpening Shot at the same location as this

  • pencil embellished limited-edition print of pencil drawing “Heliotroped” / (The original drawing was done on standard white layout paper – in a spiral bound tablet – I had to draw it twice because as I went I smeared it and had to redefine the lines the second time out.) See if you can find the poem that was tucked into this print and then sent to me anonymously. Update: Aug. 2, 2009 / I finally located the entire poem today. It was on the back of a Klimt postcard given to me at the same time the print was. / Here it is: .......................................................................................................... “When I met her / she lived, / isolated, / on a narrow lane. She had a wrought-iron fence / with a black rose growing through the gate, / locking it. The rose was groomed beautifully. / The gate it seemed had been locked for years. She would say little about the gate. / But she seemed very proud of the rose. / Eventually, she accepted a gift from me. / The gift was a white seed. A white rose now grows, wild and resisting any grooming. Still, she regards the rose with fear and awe.” ..................................................................................................... • I know, I know, I know. / If I’m such a devotee of Eckhart Tolle for such a long time, then why in the world do I still wait? Why? Why? Why? I confess. I do. BUT, at least I’m aware of it when I am. That does change things. A little. Slices of my pencil drawings / Heliotroped with Tattoo & Guest Poet / and Least Resistance / gives you this exclusive RedBubble marriage.
