Tunga/Zuga village. kebbe State. Nigeria. I just came across this child, early in the Morning. I lived 1 week in the village, as I do in most villages. So Much disease and poverty. No clean water, very little food, and almost all the children cannot attend school, as they cannot afford school fees, uniform, and text books. Chronic Malnutrition, River blindness, Intestinal worn infection plus Rickets is rampant here. Yet The Philadelphia Mission is making a positive change, thanks to precious friends here on RB. We really do need you to purchase art, or make a donation to help us help many more children in great need. A Parents Prayer for their sick child. / (2 Samuel 12:22) David answered: While he was still alive, I went without food and cried because there was still hope. I said to myself, “Who knows? Early morning as I was walking around Kaban Village in remote Nigeria, I noticed children drawing water from a well. This was a long way off,so I used my Sigma 50-500 HSM lens, with a 2x Converter. I was amazing it came out so good, as I did not have my tripod. Normally any shake would blur the shot. After I took several shots, I stood and listened to them laughing and pretending not to notice me. Then the Holy Spirit brought a verse of Scripture to my thoughts. / “Therefore with Joy shall we draw water from the wells of salvation”. Gods well of salvation is so deep and never runs dry. You will find everything you need or ever shall need in Gods well of salvation. If you look carefully you will see me [White face] with my Wife [with cap] at the back. These are a few of the children of Ungwa/fada village. most are sick. the others were in their huts or playing somewhere. I love these children so much, that I long for the day when I can travel out and stay as long as needed with them. The person who took this shot was the Chiefs wife. it was so funny, as he was laughing all the time. She never held a camera before. When I looked at all the photographs 4 days later, when I got back to the Mission center, there were 7 shots of her arm, legs, nose and one of her ample bits. There is no clean water, no electricity, no toilets and little food. When the rainy season comes all teir huts leak and need repair. No Cshool, No hospital for 60 miles and no government help. Year after year their crops fail. This time we provided a Honda Water pump. Now they can pump water from the river into the fields. 100% of all proceeds from sale of my photographs and All donations made via our mission Charity site goes to help these people and those in tunga/Zuga Village. Thank you to all of you who have donated and prayed for little Grace. She is now in good health and has made a great recovery. Praise God, I am so happy right now. Grace and other children who suffer so much Inspires me to work 12-14 hours per day sharing their plight with others and fund-raising.. I have not had the good fortune of ever having a salary for what I do. but God rewards me in many other ways. To see a child tat would have died now live and smile is wonderful. To empower the poor with more than just hope is what I live and work for. In Tunga/Zuga village, a remote village in Kebbe state Nigeria, there are so many children who are without ANY source of help. The village has no source of clean water, since their well collapsed in 2006. Intestinal worm infections, river Blindness, Chronic Diarrhoea, Malnutrition and other preventable diseases are killing and disabling many. We are making a difference and with your Prayers, Donations and support we can not only save their lives, refurbish the old school adn give them education. If it had not been for your prayers and donations for Grace, she would certainly have died. I am deeply thankful to you all. We can make a difference. / Please continue to donate and support these precious people and this mission. You are part of Gods end time plan. Jona is in need of help. he can no longer walk and Polio has taken its tool on his body. When I first met Jona last year I saw him crawling on his hands and knees. He uses pieces of rubber cut from a truck tyre and shapes the pieces into pads and attaches them to his hands and he also has them on his knees. / As he made his way towards me and a few mission workers, he was begging from people who just ignored him . He smelled from urine and was very weak. His mouth was dry and his body had rashes. lice was all over his head and cloths. He slept in a makeshift place under a tree just outside the small village. / Since that day we at the Mission center have been feeding him and treating his rash and wounds. He has now gained a little weight and is much better. He is at our Mission Church service each Sunday without fail and loves to sing his favourite song called “Jesus Loves me”. We always ask him to sing it each Sunday,a s It gives him so much joy. He complains if all don,t join in the chorus. I am deeply inspired with great passion by Jona and many who face extreme suffering and poverty. My desire is to help many like Jona and the many many children who are sick and disabled in isolated and rural villages in Africa. Together we can bless many. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO BLESS JONA WITH A SPECIAL ADAPTED TRIKE THAT HE CAN SIT ON AND POWER WITH HIS ARMS. IT COSTS £290 TO HAVE MADE. THIS WILL INDEED BE A REAL BLESSING TO JONA. I KNOW MANY ARE FACING FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES IN THESE TROUBLED TIMES. BUT WHATEVER YOU CAN GIVE TOWARDS JONA’S TRIKE WILL ALL ADD UP. ONCE WE HAVE THIS MONEY I CAN GO AHEAD AND ORDER IT TO BE MADE FOR HIM AND WE WILL GIVE IT TO HIM WHEN I RETURN TO THE MISSION CENTER IN MAY. PLEASE READ THIS. Taken in remote Nigeria. I and the team were waiting for the ferry to cross then Nile and continue our long journey to Tunga Zuga Village in kebbe state. Often my work as a missionary, working with extreme poor and sick children can be very emotional.Tears of sorrow and heartbreak, desperation and frustration overwhelm me as I and the small mission team do what we can with the little we have to help. yet there are times like this one when there is joy and happiness as I see people and scenes of great beauty. Truly God has blessed me with a wonderful life. I have never had the joy of owning my own home, or having a nice car or wealth. yet I am so happy to have a relationship with Jesus.God supplies all my needs, and I have travelled with God to many villages and he has blessed many. Life is more than a job,Career, wealth or designer cloths. Life is living in Gods presence everyday and experiencing his love and peace. Life for me is doing what is in Gods heart and that is helping the extreme poor. My Inspiration and passion is from God. I Live for him and he lives through me. I have been on mission and not a penny in my pocket, yet my heavenly father has met my needs, concerning Food, lodging, travel and covered all expenses. One one occasion, he sent an angel to pay my hotel bill. While in India The Lord moved me so much to travel overnight on a train, a day early to return to London. If I had not obeyed his leading, I would have been killed in a terrorist bombing. Its a wonderful Life with God. Taken during a Church service in Kallakurachi, India. Sunday 21st June 2009. I took this photograph just before I was called to preach to many Christians and Hindu people who had gathered in a small gods house. The temperature was 40c , and the Church building was made from wood, the walls and roof was made from galvanised tin sheeting. Despite the heat , the Fire of God was burning deep in the hearts of his people. It was in this service that God in his Love responded to the needs of the people. A young Hindu girl received her sight, others were healed from various diseases and many saved. Even those who could hear Gods word preached from outside the building via Speakers, came in and received Jesus Christ as Lord. I give God thanks and praise that he is so real and so loving. I thank God for those here on RB all around the world who pray for me, the Mission and have given money that made it possible to bless the poor and meet their needs. While I was being shown around Kallakaporum gypsy camp-India. This old woman called me over and asked me if i would pray for her hands. As I watched her make beads to sell for less than 30cents each, Her hands moved slowly. They were swollen and painful. she said she used to make up to three bead necklaces per day, but now her hands won’t let her do that any more. She wept as I prayed for her and those same swollen hands were lifted up in thanks to God. This moment will stay with me for a long time. A gypsy Mothers Prayer. “And let the beauty and favor of the Lord our God be upon us; confirm and establish the work of our hands—yes, the work of our hands, confirm and establish it”. Psalm 90:17. Taken outside Kallakurachi, Tamil Nadu state. India. Almost all the Nara-kar-avars gypsy woman and some men make beads necklaces and bracelets. its their main income. This is a photograph I took several years ago and On the day I uploaded it to my computer, The holy Spirit inspired me to write the verses contained in it. I Pray it will speak to many, and bring healing and forgiveness to those who are in need. Wounded deep by harsh cruel words, / And falsely accused by those who he loved, / Beaten and bruised, stripped naked and mocked / Tears mingled with blood, now covered his face. Hate filled hearts tied him to a post, / His back like a field that had just been ploughed / From furrows deep blood flowed to the ground / With a heart filled with love he endured the pain. Hands that healed and often clasped in prayer, / Feet that once carried a message of love, / both now nailed to a cruel cross, / Innocent one now waiting to die. Crowds stood and watched as he cried out to God, / Father forgive them, Forgive them he cried, / The price was paid and he bowed his head and died. Forgive them father was his plea / As he paid the price for you and me, / Our sins washed away and pardon secured, / Forgive one and other as He forgive you.
