Please visit Charity website: http://www.philadelphia33.org/ 100% of all money raised from sale ofall my art goes toward the extreme poor in isolated villages in Africa. I will never forget taking this photograph, as I was standing waiting for the ferry to come. Anyone who has been to rural Africa will know that things runs on African time. That’s why I call them Last minute.com. After three hours, these two guys came to me and said the ferry Had broke down on the other side, and that they would take me accross. So I got in, with all my camera equipment and a very wet Interpreter, who fell into the water. / One the way accross I suddenly realised that the large boat coming straight towards us was the Ferry. It was so funny. The fishermen refused to take any payment, as they said it would bring good fortune to the, as they had a white man in their boat. they both recieved Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It was really a blessed boat trip. visit: / http://www.philadelphia33.org/

    US$5.99–US$136.80

Visit my Africa Mission Charity Website: http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Ungwa/Fadda Village is very remote and many children here are disabled by Rickets. rickets is a disease that causes limbs to bow and leaves the child with chronic pain. Here you see Leah praying to God before she starts her daily task of caring for her younger brother and sister, John and Sarah. / Her father died shortly after our last visit in December 2007. Mother is sick. James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. In the midst of so much suffering, Jesus is always there to comfort, heal and strengthen. Like me, Leah draws strength and peace from her heavenly Father as She talks to him in Jesus name. There is no greater Love, or deeper heart of compassion than Gods heart toward all people, regardless of their Race, Color or background. To me He is my reason for living and my inspiration to help those in need. This is why I and the small team of unpaid volunteers work around the clock to help children like Leah and her family. Please visit my Africa Mission website. [Click on link below] / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ These are just some of the children in Ungwa/Fada village, that are in desperate need of our help. / Disabled by rickets and isolated by most others, they struggle each day just to survive. Lack of Vitamin [D] and other minerals cause Rickets. / I observed them during three days, as I lived in the village. They stayed together in a small group, and watched the other children run and play together. Other disabled children did the same. Three children could not walk and crawled on their hands and knees. One could only move along on her bottom. There is NO HELP or CARE for these children. We will with your Prayers, and Financial donations be able to feed, cloth and train as many as we can in skills that will help them. The Abundant Harvest Project, which will start in early 2009, will eliminate Rickets adn most other diseases. / I will be going ut on 9th October to this and other villages. / Please do what you can to help. • *Anna begging*
    by TREVOR IRWIN

    US$5.99–US$136.80

http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Every day Anna travels from village to village begging for food. We spend quite some time talking to her and a few local villagers in the area. The chiefs wife told us that Anna was found two years ago by other children in the fields near the village. For many days they made contact with other villages to see where her parents were, but with no success. Anna gets very little help and a few in the village do at times feed her, most of her time is spend begging in different villages. The chiefs wife also said they decided to name her Anna. Anna is dumb and cannot speak. She cannot communicate except by gestures. We have now moved Anna to a family in a village where we work. the family recently lost their eldest child, and now they care for Anna. We make a small contribution each month for her upkeep. 100% of all money raised from sales and donations via our charity website, goes toward helping these precious people. 100% folks. • Witchdoctor
    by TREVOR IRWIN

    US$5.99–US$136.80

http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Taken while traveling to a isolated village in Nigeria. These people cause so much hurt to the locals. child sacrifice, although greatly diminished, is still practiced in some areas. They manipulate the people and use fear and superstition as a way to control the people and earn a living for themselves. I have seen it many times and their power is destructive if left unchallenged. Medicine and herbal doctors can do good. But Full blown witchdoctors practice dark medicine that only causes hurt and death, especially to children. As a missionary and work within villages, I have seen children demonstrated by people and in some cases killed. I shared Jesus with her, and she is now a Christian and we helped her start a new business selling clothing and other items. 100% of all proceeds from sale of art and donations made via our Charity website, goes towards helping extreme poor in rural and isolated villages in Africa. • If you look carefully you will see me [White face] with my Wife [with cap] at the back. These are a few of the children of Ungwa/fada village. most are sick. the others were in their huts or playing somewhere. I love these children so much, that I long for the day when I can travel out and stay as long as needed with them. The person who took this shot was the Chiefs wife. it was so funny, as he was laughing all the time. She never held a camera before. When I looked at all the photographs 4 days later, when I got back to the Mission center, there were 7 shots of her arm, legs, nose and one of her ample bits. There is no clean water, no electricity, no toilets and little food. When the rainy season comes all teir huts leak and need repair. No Cshool, No hospital for 60 miles and no government help. Year after year their crops fail. This time we provided a Honda Water pump. • I love this shot, so I thought I would lighten the mood a bit. I and a small team were walking to a village, that was extremely remote, with no roads, so we had to park the Jeep and walk in temperatures of 37 Decrees. / We pass through Fulani tribe areas where they graze their cattle. I noticed cattle in the far distance and started to take a few shots with my Sigma 500m telephoto lens. I could not see much except a young Fulani boy kneeling beside the cow. Then As I went closer, I really did put the fear of God in him. He he shot off like a bullet screaming and shouting. All the team were laughing and told me they boy had never seen a white man before and must have thought he saw a Ghost. As you can see from the photo, he had plenty of fresh milk straight from the udder.
