I took this shot on a windy day and it died down enough for me to take this. No post-production work, just the raw beauty of nature. Kodak EasyShare C633

  • Fall landscape with autumn linden tree and golden leaves on the ground

  • Photograph /

  • Model: Lisa And no she is not dead; just relaxing on the grass with little daisies on it.

  • A cute young forest dweller munches on a pine cone, quite unconcerned about my presence. I was hiking through a pretty remote part of the forest and didn’t expect a Squirrel to hang about as I clicked and whirred at him with my trusty camera. Glad I was wrong. :o-) 25% of all sales of this image benefit the great animal protection organization, Defenders of Wildlife. • Fallen leaves on a forest floor

  • “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” / -2 Peter 3:18 /

  • This little fellow is a regular at Urban Grind Coffee shop at Balgownie in Wollongong. He actually comes right inside the shop and hops his way right to the back looking for crumbs. Sparrows are taken so much for granted as a nuisance, but we always enjoy the travels of this little sparrow. Thanks for visiting / The colour has been enhanced and the background edited in photoshop. The background was a zig zag paver which obscured the true beauty of this little guy. He was also in shadow which I have edited out. / focal length 73 mm / exposure 1/500sec / automatic white balance / f/stop 5.6 / Thanks for visiting

  • Some kind of dry grass that caught my eye. Ended up taking quite a few shots of it, because I haven’t really seen it in any other spot than there (and I’ve walked around pretty much everywhere by now…).

  • I strolled through my Mother’s garden a few days ago and took these shots there. She is a master gardener; her flowers are lush and varied. It’s a joy to see the beauty she works to achieve year after year. Her grandmother was a flower lover, and she follows closely in her footsteps. I’m afraid I didn’t get the gene!

  • I saw this little arrangement and loved it. Loved it ... walked around … took shots … didn’t like the shots … tried every angle … it just didn’t want to look the way I’d “seen” it … how very very frustrating. I mean, what’s with that. I saw it, so why couldn’t I convert it into an image?! ... Do you ever get that? You see it … I mean really see it … and you take shots and none of them do it justice the way you’d taken the image in with your all seeing magically creative eye … / Of the umpteen shots I took of this little still scene, this one came closest to what I was perceiving … :) I loved the way mother nature had arranged herself in this little mini world of colour and texture :) Camera model:Canon EOS 450D / Focal length:90 mm / Exposure:1/15 at f/14 / ISO speed:ISO 400

  • This toad was not going to budge…he was on the trail and i had to gently nudge him after I snapped this shot to get him to move…he then jumped five feet!! he was so cool!!!!
