A proud little kitty with a present for their master! I was one t shirt design shirt for an exhibition, and it was late. The next day I’d be sending my designs off for printing… so, desperate for an idea, this came out, and it just gelled so well. / Who says you can’t work under pressure!

My entry into the Drawing Day warmup challenge... create a new avatar… and that’s what I did. This ended up being a bit of an homage to a very old Chris Wahl sketch that was one of the things that first made me want to draw comics. Long story… perhaps I’ll tell you about it one day.

Definition. Medieval ‘grotesques’ (also called ‘gargoyles’), are frequently made of stone, imaginatively sculpted in the form of devils. For my darling brother, who should know better than to pull out his false front tooth and make faces whilst I have a camera in hand and Photoshop at the ready. I love you :-D
