“Often, the best opportunity comes unexpectedly. I was observing two pretty ponies and taking photographs on their sweet faces. Suddenly, several crows arrived and started to fly in circles. Calvin, the half Maine Coon cat. This little guy was abandonned and was lucky enough to find a lovely family. Cap Gris Nez, France. / Where my life changed…

I was fascinated by these slate and vergi gris rooftops on many of the older buildings in Concord, NH which is our state capitol. The detail and workmanship is clearly evident. Buildings just aren’t built like this anymore. This one, in particular, reminded me of the Chimney Sweep sequence from the movie ‘Mary Poppins’ and I could easily imagine Dick Van Dyke dancing his way across this shot. Enjoy! Len /
