A stencil I did a while back of Tadanobu Asano as Kakihara in Takashi Miike’s ‘Ichi the Killer’. Thought I would play around with a photo of it in photoshop a bit to create a new design. Wanted to keep it looking gritty and stencil like and here is the finished result.
ИГРА (pronounced IGRA) means ‘PLAY’ in Russian…. / ...and after a hard day at work, these Russian women play hard too. After many hours spent in the coal mines, there’s nothing these women enjoy more, than to dance and leap around wildly with their heavy sledgehammers. / Quite a spectacle to behold. The Japanese text translates to Janken, which is their equivalent to Rock, Paper, Scissors. The best way to solve any dispute. / /
Ink on paper illustration from a book I have written and illustrated. This character is largely inspired by Edgar Allan Poe and an array of depressive songwriters I have encountered.
Ink on paper illustration. A sad, pretty, awkward girl atop a cliff. The work inspired a gorgeous piece of writing by Nicole Ryan called Dangling Ankles
Double layer of Angelica ,my grandaughter ,who’s going to be 7 years old in august and a macro of stone .
This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. Recently cut stencil with one layer from an older stencil of a zebra in pink on her dress, with hand drawn cobbled stones. The canvas itself is 3 times in length this is just a mere snap shot of the original piece. This piece is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘snow and umbrella’ and ‘rain birds’

Part of an ongoing series of organic vs man made.Or maybe just a fascination with curves and straight lines either way i felt this one had to be done as a follow on from the first. Thanks sjem. for pushing me in the right direction.

It was a dreary and grey day today. The fog was so thick so I decided to go for a drive to one of the lighthouses. This is an old outhouse hanging over the edge of the cliff next to the lighthouse. This is what the lighthouse keeper would use to scratch that itch… lol. It’s probably about 100 feet to the ocean straight below. / / What you can’t see in the image is that behind the outhouse there is nothing but open ocean for the next 3000 miles. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / / Canon 400D/XTI / 3 Shots. This one’s for all you digital photographers out there (I think you’re the only ones that’ll get it!) For you none digital photographers; it’s to do with setting the exposure in their highly complicated cameras…. or something like that. Accuracy of Grey not guaranteed – just a bit of fun! ;-) IF YOU LIKE THIS you might like these… / / /
