“Clouds on the Water, Fire Near the Sky” / Purchase a Mouse Pad of this image I happened onto this gorgeous sunrise over the White River at a time when the water was at its lowest. I was delighted to catch the calm surface for reflections, as the low rising sun was casting its first orange glow over the autumn colors.

This is one of my favorite little places in NW Arkansas, its peaceful and quiet from the sounds of man that is. The forest is alive with the songs of the birds, and the animals that scurry throughout the forest. and of woodpeckers that sound like a jack hammer echoing throughout the woods. There are dolphins there, with whom i connected daily and a lot of sealife, including birds, seastars, rays, fish…. the original drawing is gifted to Jack, a fellow artist i met on Tangalooma and now friend, who really appreciated this drawing so much, that I felt greatly encouraged….

Sunset reflected in the wet sand of the beach of Palmar, in Vejer de la Frontera (Cadiz, Andalusia) It’s one of the most famous of the region. 4200 meters long and just over 50 meters width of virgin natural beach and fine golden sand :D / It’s waves are also the best known of Andalusia to the practice of Surf, Bodyboard and Surf and Kite. / It’s also one of the most famous Sunset in the whole area and one of my favorites to see the sunset ;) Canon 400D Featured work in SEA group (August 09) / See also /
