My garden is just a touch on the wild side! LOL! / / 4/1/66
Third in my series of Greetings cards, not confident on how these will go down. This image just sums up spring for me, beautiful deep blue Bluebells against a bluury swathe of luscious green grasses. Many thanks for looking, best wishes, Nick
Early spring and the forest comes alive with new buds, and blooms. /

The yellow rump warbler has a wonderfully sweet song so it is fitting to include it with the Chinese proverb which reassures, “If I keep a green bough in my heart, the singing bird will come,” a beautifully lyrical way of saying we must never let go of hope! (And, since green is the color of hope, the metaphor, green bough, is right on the money!)
Just a bright happy image filled with symbols of new life to celebrate the glorious Resurrection of our Lord.
Take time to admire the beauty around you… it might not be there the next day. I have some potted plants growing in my kitchen window and they don’t last as long as I would like… I want my garden to start growing. This is a mum that’s just starting to open. Enjoy!
Surely the most cheerful sight to behold as winter fades and spring bursts into life! Transparent watercolour on paper.

I need some peace and quiet right now… a vacation perhaps…. Just a mum that was growing in my plant window. Enjoy!
A little piece of spring captured yesterday with my new camera. 18 March 2009 Canon EOS 450D 18-55 mm lens
A female Northern cardinal looks pretty against a spring blue sky. She reminds me of a movie starlet with bright red lipstick, a perky little hat, a sweeping train on her gown, and a sparkle in her eye!
Featured: MINIMALIST LANDSCAPES…Sept 6, 09 / Featured: SIMPLE BY DESIGN…Aug 30, 09 This beautiful simplicity caught my eye because this area is usually very brown and dry. The unusual rainfall this year turned the area into a lush beauty! The greens were so bright and had a chartreuse tone that was breathtaking! / (Sony A350 SLR) /
