I’m finally able to share some images from winter in Gross Welle, Germany. I love this time of year in northern Germany. I have been very lucky to be able to photograph this area during more than one season.

I was walking around, exploring in the little bit of woods on my island, when I came across this old brick structure that stood about 4 feet high. Curiosity got the best of me and I got on top and saw this. I still have no idea what it is, but I like it. To me, it is the sacred Fountain of Youth!

Grass trees are Australian natives, very primative plants. There are many growing in this area, it is a bit rare to see so many.

I hate comming up with titles sometimes! Anyway, my Hedge is starting to flower and these are those. about 8mm in diametre each flower and come out in clumps, anyone who knows the name, please let me know.
