  • Autumn (Nov) still shows strong colors of the season, colors in the skys with clouds of storms and snow to be seen soon. The Holidays are just around the corner waiting for us to get there. I feel this photo shows us all that Autumn is upon us and god is finished painting for now! It was a bit nasty outside yesterday, but just before we got the rains, I was out driving and saw this scene. Couldn’t pass it up. I just love the strong clouds we get here. I don’t remember seeing these so much like this on the west coast. Awesome and we definitely did NOT get the Autumn scenes in California as well as had to drive to a farm (hour or so away) or go to the zoo to see horses…LOL / All in one shot! I tried everything to get the horses to turn and look at me but they were being very stubborn…. / This is a straight from the camera shot. / / / This image was featured in the Country Bumkin Group. Thank you all so very much. It is appreciated loads.

  • Nikon D60

  • This is a result of much first time experimentation with Adobe PS. I actually ended up doing very little to it but it was fun to try it out anyway. It is another part of the watercolor painting from which I also cropped Mushroom Magic. I like the original painting in full and framed, but have not been happy with what it looks like on the computer. Thus, Mushroom Magic and Weather Report were born!

  • Rainbow pass through a cloud!

  • The Hole of Horcum is a section of the valley of the Levisham Beck in the North York Moors of northern England, upstream of Levisham and Lockton. The Hole of Horcum is a vast, 400ft deep natural hollow measuring ¾ of a mile across. It has been naturally eroded over thousands of years by the action of springs, though a more romantic legend tells us that it was created when a giant named Wade, who was in fact a Saxon chief, grabbed a ‘handful’ of earth to throw at his wife, Bell – the soil missed its target and landed to form the 800ft high hill of Blakey Topping which lies about a mile to the east. Nikon D60 / HDR in photomatix / one shot, handheld / pp in PS CS3 / Lens: Nikkor 18-200m / 1/125 f/9.0 ISO200
