I only discoverd the name of this area recently while trying to find out where Aldinga meets Willunga. Whites Valley is located between Aldinga & Willunga along Biscay Rd. Because of this I may have to re-name some of my images for there correct locations. / Not only dose this area have a lot of Vines growing , there seems to be a lot more Olive trees growing in the region. Up the road from this location is the town of Willunga also known for its Almonds. This is the view along the River Duddon in Cumbria. This spot in the lake District is called Whistling Green and lies opposite Ulpha’s wonderful post office and village store. Despite the blue sky, you can see how hard the wind was blowing by the ripples on the rivers surface.

A Japanese beetle was “hanging out” on a wildflower at Rose Valley Lake in north central Pennsylvania. This macro photo was captured handheld with a Canon EOS 10D through a Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact-Macro prime lens. The shutter speed was 1/250th sec at f/5.6, ISO 100, no flash. Another photo from one of my favorite places – Magozd, in Slovenia. This one was taken last summer, and it makes me wish I was back there right now. La Salle is just off HWY 16 about 30 miles west of McBride BC in the Robson Valley. I grew up just a few miles from this spot. The Mountain in the background is nick named Hammer Mountain because Many years ago, I think before I was born, a forest fire left a scar in the shape of a hammer head just below tree line and below and to left of the highest peak. View large and see if you can spot it. / I took this photo over 20 years ago with my Canon AE-1 Program film camera. Captured on Kodak 100asa film.
