Recently we did a test shoot for two really funny and crazy guys who also happen to make music together, Jase and Tom after their manager aeris saw my stuff on RedBubble and decided I am shit hot at what I do. (I’m working on the modesty bit, I swear.) Anyway they really really didn’t want to do a photo shoot in a smelly, public, and damp mens’ toilet so naturally I nagged at them until they relented. Then the first thing their manager said upon viewing this image was “That one’s for RedBubble!” So here it is.

To me, this variation has more of an old time feel to it. Perhaps, nostalgia is being waxed. Perhaps love is being waned. Perhaps Tristan sits and waits for the moon. / ........................................ / ......................................................... One can never be sure of the past, for unlike the future, it’s colors change to reflect the moods of the present. They flare, they fade and dim to naught, they move from this to that until you are no longer sure where they belong-ed. Tristan dreams of something almost remembered and, in that dreaming, calls forth colors of life once forgotten.

Daucus carota (common names include wild carrot, (UK) bird’s nest, bishop’s lace, and (US) Queen Anne’s lace) is a flowering plant, native to temperate regions of Europe, southwest Asia and northeast North America. / Daucus carota is a variable biennial plant, usually growing up to 1 m tall and flowering from June to August. The umbels are claret-coloured or pale pink before they open, then bright white and rounded when in full flower, measuring 3–7 cm wide with a festoon of bracts beneath; finally, as they turn to seed, they contract and become concave like a bird’s nest. / Description taken from wikipedia.
