A Black-chinned hummingbird nectar feeding in Patagonia, Arizona. Perhaps one of the world’s finest places to visit and witness spectacular bird migration, one can see up to 13 different species of hummingbird there alone during the peak of bird migration annually. /

Merry Christmas Everyone!!! / Enjoy! _
Recently we did a test shoot for two really funny and crazy guys who also happen to make music together, Jase and Tom after their manager aeris saw my stuff on RedBubble and decided I am shit hot at what I do. (I’m working on the modesty bit, I swear.) Anyway they really really didn’t want to do a photo shoot in a smelly, public, and damp mens’ toilet so naturally I nagged at them until they relented. Then the first thing their manager said upon viewing this image was “That one’s for RedBubble!” So here it is.

A color pencil drawing of a scene uncommon in the world we live in. A little girl holding tightly to her pet, a tiger cub. This is one of my favorite pieces. It shows the innocence of child and a tame look of an exotic animal.
‘go mo leisceal’ is one of the earliest expressions an irish child learns in school. it means ‘excuse me’ and will be said whilst holding ones hand in the air to get the teachers attention, and will most often be followed by “an bhfuil cead agam dul go dti an leithreas?” i.e can i go to the toilet?
‘nil fhios agam’ is the irish for ’ i don’t know’. when someone asks you what the words on your t-shirt mean, you can say ‘i don’t know’......
To me, this variation has more of an old time feel to it. Perhaps, nostalgia is being waxed. Perhaps love is being waned. Perhaps Tristan sits and waits for the moon. / ........................................ / ......................................................... One can never be sure of the past, for unlike the future, it’s colors change to reflect the moods of the present. They flare, they fade and dim to naught, they move from this to that until you are no longer sure where they belong-ed. Tristan dreams of something almost remembered and, in that dreaming, calls forth colors of life once forgotten.
Painted this today, 10.02.2009. This is part one of a two parter collection. I painted this, then painted part two over it. Part two titled, In the Midst of Love – The End I used watercolour on double thick canvas 12×12 In the Midst of Love – The End
/ Featured in Magnificent Minnesota April 27, 2009. I don’t know what this is but, it caught my eye while I was walking my dog. / Update: Thanks to some fellow bubblers this has been identified. Daucus carota (common names include wild carrot, (UK) bird’s nest, bishop’s lace, and (US) Queen Anne’s lace) is a flowering plant, native to temperate regions of Europe, southwest Asia and northeast North America. / Daucus carota is a variable biennial plant, usually growing up to 1 m tall and flowering from June to August. The umbels are claret-coloured or pale pink before they open, then bright white and rounded when in full flower, measuring 3–7 cm wide with a festoon of bracts beneath; finally, as they turn to seed, they contract and become concave like a bird’s nest. / Description taken from wikipedia.
