I was saddened to hear that Oink, who features in this artwork, had been subject to vicious attacks from thugs. They had been throwing bricks at him and putting washing up liquid in the 15 year old’s water trough. After hearing about the threat to Oink’s safety, David Larkin kindly donated and set up a CCTV sytem in Oink’s field. Other well-wishers are making donations to Oinks fund, which will raise money towards providing further security for Oink, such as a new fence. Read the full story, here Oink’s fund is now closed The tranquil beast in this photo manipulation is a Water Buffalo. I think he’s the only one in the UK, and I stumbled across him while out walking my dog in some local fields. His name is Oink! He got stranded in his field during the floods a few months ago. Luckily, he found his way to safety and became quite the celebrity in the animal world! This was edited in a similar way to my other work, Lord of the Water. Please click on this link for details. Garden Of the Gods Park, outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is without a doubt one of my all time favorite places to shoot at….the light there just dances, especially during the golden hours just after sunrise…..Pike’s Peak is in the background, with the wind blowing the snow into the sky. / Thoughts welcomed! Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado…..and how I love shooting up there when the winter weather begins to roll on in…the wind is bad, the air—-freezing cold, but the images that one can capture are filled with atmosphere and drama, case in point, this shot here. I love how tranquil this looks. I took this hanging out the passenger window. Contrary to popular belief, this is an actual photo. I saturated the colors a little more, sharpened the grass and photoshopped the clouds into the picture to give it a little more. :) Shot with a Sony Cybershot DSC-T100. Ever dreamed of sneaking away to a quiet, tranquil spot…lush vegetation, hearing the sounds of the forest and spending the day relaxing, reading a good book and having the most yummy picnic? / Well here is a little oasis I created. It looks a lot like an area of New Zealand called the Marlborough Sounds. What childhood memories are made of. The old bach (or crib)...simple holiday home with comfortable but basic living conditions. Getting away from the rat race.

This is one of my favorite little places in NW Arkansas, its peaceful and quiet from the sounds of man that is. The forest is alive with the songs of the birds, and the animals that scurry throughout the forest. and of woodpeckers that sound like a jack hammer echoing throughout the woods. Sutton Bank is a high vantage point at the very edge of the Hambleton Hills and the North York Moors with extensive views over the Vale of York and the Vale of Mowbray. Because of its location and high elevation, Sutton Bank is popular with gliding and flying enthusiasts. Predominant landmarks include Whitestone Cliff and Roulston Scar, the former overlooking the mysterious (and reputedly bottomless !) Lake Gormire. Close nearby are the villages of Sutton-under-Whitestonecliff, and Kilburn (famous for the White Horse of Kilburn, and Robert Thompson – the “Mouseman” of Kilburn). / Sutton Bank is one of the most spectacular inland cliffs anywhere in Britain, and carries one of the most hair-raising main roads in the country. The near vertical drop from top to bottom is around 140 metres, and crosses at least two major geological boundaries. / The Sutton Bank National Park Centre is on the western edge of the fabulous North York Moors National Park – home to the largest expanse of heather moorland in England.
