‘Inspirational Series’ card by Karin Taylor Where is Red Dog is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper using ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal. The original painting was inspired by the legend of ‘Red Dog’, aka ‘The Pilbara Wanderer’ of Western Australia. Red Dog was a loyal friend and stout companion to all who knew him. In this painting, the girl on the skateboard represents us in our search for love and acceptance and ‘Red Dog’ symbolises that quintessential spirit of the friend, whose love and acceptance we all yearn for.

‘Beach Series’ card by Karin Taylor Still Waters sold very early on, but she is one of my favourite images. I was inspired by Margaret Preston’s work on this occasion, wanting to give the impression of a print somehow. This is a mixed media production in which I used ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal.

I know, I said I wouldn’t upload anything for a long period. But before throwing myself in studying, I had to help my family with the grape harvest (“vendemmia” in Italian) and as everytime in this period, I was enchanted by the beauty of the nature hidden in the grapesvine shoots. I couldn’t help myself taking several shots and I ended up putting online this miniserie. / I hope the Light in these shots will please your eyes, warm your soul and comfort who is in a time of darkness (Mother Nature helped me to love Life and keep my hopes even in the worst moments). / Links to my other works: / NATURE / PORTRAITS / TRAVELLING / VARIOUS

Another not entirely right panorama from a camera my father made. Using these little cameras were a bit of a trick at times but the results were so various and mad that I love them. There are only five in this series. Below is a thumbnail of some Dad’s camera’s His camera always produced much better photo ’s technically than mine but I maintain that the mistakes I made with mine made for a more interesting image :)

‘Friends Series’ card by Karin Taylor _Friends are siblings God forgot to give us.’ _- Unknown Sisters Fishing is a painting done on canvas textured paper. It was so much fun to paint this one. The inspiration for the stripes on the towels came from the wierdest idea. I was just staring one day at a set of brightly coloured corkboard pins at my eye level on the cupboard and the idea was born! Inspiration comes from all over the place!
