This rock in, known as Shiroyama (literally means “white mountain”), is located Arasaki Park (Yokosuka, Japan). Yokosuka is a city in Miura near Hayama, the town where I did my internship. Hayama is renowned for the beach and green hills, and this place was just a drive down. Hayama literally means “leaf mountain” in Japanese, and indeed Hayama is full of green mountains. The coast of Yokosuka, Hayama; along with other cities in Miura are popular for their beaches and offer a rich experience with nature. A wonderful play of natural light, shade and colour in this Blue Foxtail Agave. This photo was taken as is, there are no special effects, lighting or any post processing on this image. It was taken in the gardens in front of St Vincents Hospital in Darlinghurst, Sydney NSW. It is also my most viewed photograph with over 5,400+ views to-date.

Heart Built on Tears These are individually placed waterdrops on a CD. The colors come from how the light is refracted on the surface. This took a while – extremely enjoyable and relaxing. In fact I may just do another in this theme. There is no background colour so by changing the colour of the tee it will give the frog a different look.
