During Spring for a few weeks you get this really intense green weed hitting the Sydney coast line…. I loved the contrast and textures of the green weed against the blur of a long exposure (30sec +) of the ocean and a nice dramatic sky.

Check out these rocks… beautiful in every way…. green in colour… they have like an alligator skin texture and they are in a lovely angular pattern. This was taken at sunrise at Forresters beach as a storm was approaching us.

Elephants Rocks, Denmark, Western Australia. For Beth, my twin-sis. Another image from one of my favourite places. The day of our visit, it amazed me how many people stood on the top of these rocks and then turned back to the carpark, missing the view of the rocks from this point and all the wonderful coastline around the corner. What a magical place this is Natural Bridge (also known as Natural Arch), in the World Heritage-listed, Springbrook National Park, Queensland, Australia. Over millions of years, the waters of the mountain fed Cave Creek has worn away at the basalt cave roof, to create this natural wonder. Home to a colony of glow-worms, only visible after sunset. The short hiking walk takes you through some beautiful rainforest, most of the time, you can hear the falling waters of these falls. A must see if you come to the area! Canon 50D, 14mm. Featured in “Landscape Photography” Moraine Lake, Alberta, Canada I knew going that I wanted a shot dramatically different then the standard “Moraine Lake” photo that everyone has. I took this photo in the early spring of this year, before the lake had reached it’s normal levels. Didn’t realize it at the time but I was very lucky to have gotten this shot as I came back 3 days later and the rock had already been completely submerged. Woke up at 2am and drove 2 and half hours in the dark and then slept at the lake for about 30 mins before going out to take pictures. Spent almost 4 hours walking the shores trying different shots. I was about to go home when i spotted this rock, I knew I had finally found the shot I wanted. Cheers
