Repost new framing
I used the common colour pencils to depict having the courage to be different and break out. I used a very short depth of field on this shot to focus on the red pencil and bring a 3-D effect to the shot. I hold this shot very close to heart- the only shot I submitted to a competition and sailed through to the finals :). The theme was…’breakout’, of course!
11th installment of the pingpong colab. / Aaaahhh…. finally finished it. Its ridiculous how much time I’ve spent doing this, probably the longest of all Lookout series. Feel like something fishy (been eating a lot of fish and chips lately) Check out all previous versions here or shortcuts here: 1. Lookout!: Search 2. Lookout!: Mystery 3. Lookout!: Reach 4. Here are Jazzy on the left and Chloe on the right. Two rescue dogs. Our friend adopted Jazzy, and we adopted Chloe. We got her when she was 2 1/2, she is now 4. They lived together before we adopted them, and we consider them half-sisters. Chloe loves when Jazzy comes to visit, as they love to romp in our backyard. / We don’t know who’s happier, us or the dogs. iams is trying to reach a goal of 1,000,000 pet adoptions Consider making a home for a wonderful animal, this holiday season. On my way back to the campsite here after a great day hiking in the surrounding hills and mountains of Snowdonia … Copyright 2009 Richie Dean Software : Adobe Photoshop / PhotoArtMaster Beddgelert / Snowdonia National Park / Wales UK This work inspired Adgray to / compose these fantastic lines …...... Rest a while neath the shade of the peppercorn / Sit here with me on the crumbling wall / Smell the ferns in the dell and the medow hay / baking in the warmth of the day / see you’re not tired at all Talk with me of what bothers you / together our minds may solve / the hurdles and missiles that assult anew / the riddles that plague and frustrate you / we’ll find solutions that will resolve and we shall have peace for the afternoon / and we shall have warmth in the night / and we shall be content with the lives we live / for you see the world is just right

This poor little ants luck had run out today! A tiny rain shower, which lasted no more than 2 minutes and this little one bit the dust. Wrong place, wrong time I guess, a rain drop much have landed right on him. I think this is a Common Coastal Brown Ant. I didn’t even nothice it was an ant in there till I took the shot, he was so small, looked like dirt. Canon 5D Mk II, 65mm. Best viewed Large!

3.14159 out of 10 I’ve temporarily re-cropped this to more closely fit the template for the challenge. After the challenge is over I’ll be restoring it to its full size as I prefer it like that. / Here is what it should look like when I restore it to it’s original size: For the Happy challenge (whoo, I won!). Stefan Sagmeister is asking people to rate their happiness from 1 to 10, and create a portrait that illustrates this. A selection of works will be included in his upcoming “Happy Film”. I’m baffled by this number system, but I’ve given myself a 3. Although I suppose at any given moment I may be anywhere between a 1 and a 10, I figure I should average it out a bit. Make of that what you will. Click here to see it as a work in progress. / Click to see the process animated like magic! Witness the evidence of my winningness: /
