This one could be sleeping. Or dead.
The classic mythological beast of Greek lore, whom resides in the shadows. An allussion to the beast within the darkest recesses of us all that must be searched out, confronted, and slain. This guy actually just looks like he could use a break…. / Really it was part of my intention in this work to present the sort of monster that is melancholy; a darker beast of dimmer depths than it is often given credit for. / Original was done in watercolor and gouache media, on Arches cold-press 180lb. cotton rag.
A sad boy masked as a cute dino.
The monsters find him confusing and quite repulsive. You know, just like that “Twilight Zone” episode…only not on television…and with monsters and cross-hatching. (Okay, so they actually have very little in common.)
Well, they can’t ALL be cute shots!
Baby monsters…and REALLY BIG ones … also like to play ;) sitting on a tree and catching the clouds seems to be the most fascinating game… especially when you know that clouds taste like sugar ;) [that’s a secret!] This Tee is my submission to the Vector Goodness Lounge Monster Mascot Competition!!! Hope it’s not too late! :) Here is a better preview of the illustration:
Featured in the “Accentuate the Eyes” Group My little green eyed monster named Festus. He is almost two years old. I rescured him when he was approximately 3 months old. He was only 2 pounds and living outside in a barn. His siblings who were 3 times his size were very mean to him. I’m happy to say that he is now an indoor cat (he’s afraid of the outside, he had a really rough time those first 3 months), he is 13 pounds, spoiled and the King of the house. Plus, he has a great personality and is absolutely adorable. > /
She loves me she loves me not … The Monster just likes pretty things
Eat Your Greens / says the green bogey man look at me / and ask a dietitian Eat your veges oh so slow / to make your man boobs go oh yeah EAT YOUR GREENS!

Clive loves the simple things in life – kicking back in his billabong with a Coopers Pale listening to his Triffids records.
oh-oh… / damn monkeys.
Actually, its a sculpture made from waste and its at The Eden Project! However, there is a lesson in it for all of us… that our waste will devour us all one day unless we learn to live more frugally. How to do this is something I don’t have all the answers to, but unless we all try together then our Garden of Eden will become a wasteland. I decided some Photoshop work would make the monster more frightening… hope I succeeded!
The Incredible Hulk Evolution
A sinuous and serpentine leviathon slithers mysteriously. / Mixed media (oil pastels, colored pencils, metallic paint pens, art pens) on green watercolor paper Original measures 19×25 inches
A deep sea pursuit through an old kelp garden. / An old one-man submersible is on the tail of something …. / ... something not seen before …. something big. Original sketch: / detail: /
The Black Queen-Bishop’s Pawn / Artist: Simon Sherry / Biography: Danny The left side of the Shaman’s: brain, the feminine, is represented by metal and machinery Forged of metals, the origins of which have long been forgotten, and imbued with eldritch energies from within the Queen’s Shaman herself, these cold steel hulks are highly effecient in close-quarters combat. Initially capable of bursts of high speed, the Doomhammers wind down to a more sluggish pace, limited to striking at those foolish enough to get too close. /
