  • Colorful fish in a big pond

  • This was a very early morning sunrise capture.. The very warm colors hitting green makes this look so pretty.. Well to me anyway.. I hope you find it so too.. The blood sucking insect was getting ready for bed soon.. LOL Something Different To Share From Your Wall

  • I was out feeding the Koi and Goldfish before the rain came in. The day was overcast and the winds were blowing upon my face. I could smell the rain.. As I was standing near one of the Koi ponds feeding the excited Koi I looked across the Lotus area and there was a beautiful Lotus Flower. I was surprised at its glow and shape. This I knew was the last Lotus Flower that I would see this year.. I must get the camera.. Oh but the rains are moving in.. Must move fast.. When the rains start it will be too late and the storms which are showering rain down now will change everything. I ran and grabbed the digital SLR and came back in a rush.. No time to set up a Tripod.. Nor time for the Mono pod.. Hold still now Chuck.. Exhale slow.. Squeeze ever so smooth.. again , again , again, The rain is starting to come harder.. The winds are picking up… Back in the house .. load the memory on the computer.. I had one capture that I was happy with.. I will share it with the people I care for on RB.. This is my token of friendship .. Please except it as is.. I except you.. / Chuck What A Picture For Your Wall Buy It Here

Also, it was good to experiment using the acrylic in a different way – and I love the spiritual symbolism of the lotus flower.

  • Lotus bud enjoying the sunshine / /

  • I thought since I’ve had such good response to my Giant Lily Pad and Under the Lily Pad photos, I do a collage showing a couple more angles as well as the huge lotus bud. All photos were taken at Hughes Water Gardens (Tualatin, Oregon) inside a greenhouse. These giant lily pads are rough 4’ in diameter. You can actually sit an 3 year old in them. These pads grow to this size in one season from a seed. Most Popular / My Favorites / Dahlias / Cards and Collages / Calendars / T-Shirts Please visit my bubblesite.
