This was my 3 year old daughters first time playing in the rain. It was so amazing to watch her delight . I think we can all relate to tilting our faces up towards the the sky, trying to catch the rain as it falls on our cheeks. I used the common colour pencils to depict having the courage to be different and break out. I used a very short depth of field on this shot to focus on the red pencil and bring a 3-D effect to the shot. I hold this shot very close to heart- the only shot I submitted to a competition and sailed through to the finals :). The theme was…’breakout’, of course!

Hello everyone, meet Kenny! Kenny’s a young baby tortoise.. He’s quiet and shy but very loving.. he loves to nudge Julian with his little head.. and with his super cute baby eyes, Julian can’t help but adopt lil Kenny as his godson..
