I have so many autumn shots to upload it’s ridiculous… thought it’s one of the most photogenic times of the year. I’m not looking forward to winter though! Enjoy!
Some experiment with a mirror, water, waxflowers and calligraphers ink… oh and wrapping paper reflecting in the mirror. Haha, yeah it was kinda crazy…. Enjoy!
mixed media work created on 03-03-03 …..newsprint…tracing paper….sheet music…etc. and acrylic paint. this piece was painted for a show….the BIG ART MAUI event. it didn’t make the show and so….. i get to enjoy her! awakening to the reality that we all are subject to be caught….hooked…pulled in by something we are not awake to OUR LESSON. we also wear hooks….to see or not to see…............ the original is still available. 3500- (resizing to 300 dpi) she was so small before she only made cards and small prints. did anyone notice? i didn’t.

This is a shot I took after shooting One Night Under the Milky Way I brought the ISO down from 3200 to 100 of course I had to compensate by opening up the shutter for a longer period! That night, Monday July 20, 2009, I was out about 3 hours and I could see this bright object just above the horizon to my left and in what must have been about a 2 hour duration is had only traveled about 15 or 20 degrees in the sky. I’m not completely sure but I think it is the International Space Station and that night it had the Space Shuttle docked to it! Camera Model Canon EOS 50D / Firmware Firmware Version 1.0.2 / Shooting Date/Time 7/21/2009 12:29:44 AM / Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1462 / Av( Aperture Value ) 4.0 / ISO Speed 100 / Lens EF-S18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS / Focal Length 18.0mm “Star Trail” was shot at Flamber Head on Newfoundland’s East Coast Trail For more information please visit Brian’s Homepage
The Hole of Horcum is a section of the valley of the Levisham Beck in the North York Moors of northern England, upstream of Levisham and Lockton. The Hole of Horcum is a vast, 400ft deep natural hollow measuring ¾ of a mile across. It has been naturally eroded over thousands of years by the action of springs, though a more romantic legend tells us that it was created when a giant named Wade, who was in fact a Saxon chief, grabbed a ‘handful’ of earth to throw at his wife, Bell – the soil missed its target and landed to form the 800ft high hill of Blakey Topping which lies about a mile to the east. This is a tiny Impatient bud… (flower). If you know how tiny each bloom is, well, the buds are so much MORE tiny! Sultana is another name, which they go by, but most know them, by “Impatient’s”. I grow them, every summer. For this one, I used Photoshop brushes, and the bud. / Used Nikon D50 with a 105mm VR Nikkor fixed lens for macro. /
