I was driving down a dirt road when all of a sudden I saw all these sea gulls. Could not figure out what they were doing until I looked at the trees and saw they were full of cherries. This one was staking his territory

This is the logo for a group that my boyfriend and I are starting. You can read about it in our blog to come: UrbanSurvivalists This blog is about showing people how to build do it yourself projects that will save them money. This will start off by using a hierarchy of needs. We are seeking to build sustainable rain water catcher in our back yard, plant our own food, and make many other commercial things on our own. While we document our work, we will be posting it live, so everyone can try it!

Macro shot of a seed pod from a plant I only know as a Money Tree – someone may know the correct name. When the seed pod dries they are a silver colour and the seeds fall and grow profusely. The actual pod is about half an inch

I don’t know what type of moss this is or even if it is moss, but I have never come accross moss with this orangey color. This was taken on June 7th, so the color change of Autumn do not apply. A bit odd. Taken in the woods around Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois. Who knows what those folks are experimenting with.
