Being a burmese lover and having two of my own, I couldn’t help but feel the need to give, in my mind; the greatest gift to my (now friend, ex lover) Paul, who still deeply missed his burmese who had passed away about a year ago. / He may not be able to love me or any other woman who’s not ‘broken’ til he deals with his demons, but til then he’ll have at least one great female in his life who will always be there for him, and that he can (hopefully) love unconditionally…the beautiful ‘Obi’ It occurred to me after the purchase (when I was struggling til next pay after having way blown my own student budget) that I have never spent so much on a gift before for anyone, including partners I’d been with a lot longer than Paul, who by the time of picking up Obi, had actually broken up with me anyway…but at the time I didn’t think twice about the purchase as, for a start it was organised while we were still together, but more so because she was a BURMESE and SO WORTH every dollar!!! To anyone who is considering getting a cat, I strongly recommend a BURMESE!! (actually they come even better as pairs! haha) They are ‘the dogs of the cat world’....full of intelligence, affection and personality!!! & They are easily the most reliable males in my life ;-) haha

A week or so ago I was at work (Gloria Jeans) when this guy came up to the counter and amidst ordering some sort of coffee, asked me are you having the greatest day of your life? I didn’t really know what to reply so i just said umm… no? and he just goes why not? now, i’m not sure if he was slightly drunk, attempting a philosophical lesson or just plain weird, but whichever it was, it was interesting XD so go make everyday the greatest day of your life! /cornyness ps. tomorrow is the last day of term one. thank god for holidays. I really need some time off from school and stress XD maybe even create art for once how are you all?
