This was from an e-mail my mom printed out for me a long time ago. I came across it again while cleaning my room. I wonder if this is familiar to anyone. I’m not the author but I’m putting this in the writing section because I think it can get more attention there. A great note for all to read: it will just take 30 seconds to read this and change your thinking.

    by happyfeet5

This poem I wrote to my son’s English Club teacher on his behalf when he was ten. Eric had a learning dissability and has dysgrafia, (it’s like dyslexia, but instead of a reading problem, it has to do with writing. So even if he could come out with great stories and poems in head, his brain couldn’t make his hand to execute the writing correctly). This special English teacher was one of the few that inspired him to keep on no matter what. So he proudly presented this poem to her.

  • The Knowing of the Great, "I Know"
    by Kristin Reynolds

How many facets of the great, “I KNOW” lurk / within the hearts of men? Not the minds, / But the hearts… Just how many moons can a …

This is a poem I wrote yesterday about how sometimes, you just know things. Or, at least I do. There are some things, unexplainable things that I feel like i was born just “knowing”; certain inherent truths. I am trying to explain here how I came to know, and how that knowing is recieved. More often than I can count I have given insight into a matter to another, answered a question on a heady subject (philosophical, metaphysical, or spiritual for the most part) and my ansewr has always come from that place of “just knowing”. but, more often than not, because this was not read in a book, or been taught to me by a teacher, what I have to say takes discarded as “full of shit” or “how can she possibly know that?” but then, ah, then, they will go reading in their books by this one or that one, and having read the exact same thing that I told them in the first place, will come to me like, “Huh? How’d you know that?” This is the only way i can explain it; and this may not even do so. I tried. :)

  • Great Chapters in The Bible - Genesis 2 & 3 - The Fall of Man
    by Paul Gitto

So who will the woman believe, God or the serpent? / We all have to believe something.

Man’s failure to adhere to God’s Word causes his downfall. / It is the integrity of God’s Word, which is challenged. / We see in the beginning of Genesis God sets forth only one Commandment to Adam and Eve, and the type is set for mankind. There are many Great Chapters in the Bible . It helps if someone leads you to them, and helps you understand them. This is a series of Great Chapters in the Bible. / You may need to re-read each chapter many times to grasp it’s truths, but as you do, the wisdom of God’s Word will open to you, by His Spirit working in you. If you have a question bmail me, or leave a comment. I will be using the comment sections to explain verses within each chapter.
