This was captured after a rain storm, while we were on holidays at Lorne. The sky lit up as though it was on fire, with the clouds reflecting the late afternoon sun and the resulting water lying on the pier also mirrored the sky and the couta boat, docked there.

This little gem can be found just around the corner from Loch Ard Gorge near Port Campbell off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Australia. I came here the afternoon before and there were snap happy tourists everywhere but decided to come back the next morning and there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the crashing ocean to keep me company… Unfortunately as of early June 2009 this archway has collapsed leaving two apostles next to eachother. A natural formation known as a Sink Hole, the Grotto can be found on the Great Ocean Road, Victoria. This one shot from inside the Grotto, looking out to sea. If you havn’t been on the Great Ocean Road, I highly recommend it as one of the most beautiful coast lines, possibly in the world! Shot taken at 11:45am. Canon 50D, 10mm. Heart Reef © Vicki Ferrari A scan of an original print, taken using a Minolta SLR, back in the early 1990’s. / Heart Reef is located north of Hamilton Island, on the Great Barrier Reef, in North Queensland, Australia. It was named Heart Reef because, and obviously, it looks like a heart! / This photograph was taken from one of my regular chopper rides up on the island. I never got sick of flying in choppers, or seeing the amazing reef from the air! When you are at the Whitsundays, well worth visiting the Reef by helicopter! The view is amazing! Originally uploaded in March ‘08, this was a capture of the storm that hit SW England that same month. / This was taken from the bridge at Dawlish Railway Station, Devon, England. / Despite the rough weather, the trains continued to run, and this stretch of track is the most expensive to maintain, due to the battering it gets from the sea. / This is a common sight in Dawlish during the winter months, and sometimes during the Summer months also. This picture was originally tonemapped by Dave Warren and I have revamped it a little bit to give it a slightly different look. Thanks again to Dave for his help with this.
