I became fascinated with the architecture of the building and had to photograph it one day. This picture was actually taken during the day. I used Photoshop to alter the color scheme and inserted the full moon from another shot that I had previously taken. It’s all about the perspective! The original photograph was of a dozen roses. After painstakingly removing all but the single rose in Photoshop, I applied several gradients and filters to achieve this final effect. An original photograph of a gladiola flower with morning dew saturating it’s petals. The background was cut out and replaced with a freehand paint brush creation in Photoshop CS3. The flood filter was added last to bring it all together. My step-father plays the guitar… very well, I might add. When he comes home from a long day of working in a factory, he can usually be found in the kitchen strumming his guitar, filling the entire house with music. I stopped by one evening to visit with the folks and had my camera with me, so I snapped a few shots and applied some Photoshop treatments to this one.
