Charcoal on paper 8.5” X 10” / Used Adobe Photoshop for wallpaper and some highlights and color “The Mothman had been hiding in little Bartlebee’s closet decades before he had arrived. It had been feeding on old cardigans and teddybears…” This is just a funny scenario I thought up. Kinda random. I am developing a story around this picture.
This painting is watercolour on paper. The Royal Art Society’s next exhibition is a challenge. To do a painting incorporating food and/or drink with the landscape. I chose to use the Sydney Harbour Bridge as a background, looking out of a window. And I painted my favourite subjects, apples and silver on a check tablecloth. Thank you all so very much for all the kind comments, faves and watches. I really appreciate these. Another from my experimentation with high ISO. / Canon 400D 100mm 2.8 – FL 100 F Stop 2.8 Exp1/3200 Manual / ISO 1600 / It’s another grainy image-because of the high ISO but I love the extra vibrance that it provides. /
I decided I would try some more fruit shots. This time I use three different apples. Granny Smith, Red Delicious and Fuji. HDR work was done in Photomatix Pro. Fractalius work done in Photoshop CS4 Extended. This was shot with a SONY DSLR A350 and a Tamron 28-300mm lens. I used 5 photos to get this effect. Thank you for checking out my new work. Troy W. “The other night when we laid together in the dark / I placed my head upon your chest to hear your heart / I tapped it out, Morse code rhythms on the bed / Did you know that I understood each word that it said” Lyrics From These Magnet Hearts by Kina Grannis PLEASE check this girl out, youtube her, she is sensational. Displayed at a local Food “Affare” recently. Desaturated a little, selectively brought back the colour in the produce, and slight edging used. Landscapes Trees Cards EOD Rusty Flowers Architecture Macro CatchAll DM

Found this adorable little flower in amongst mum’s strawberries. Apparently their real name is Colombine, but I like Granny’s Bonnet much better…
The big bad wolf
I came across this very old photograph recently of my great grandmother and one of her daughters (I do suspect it was a firm belief that cameras would break if anyone smiled in days gone by!!!) – so combined it with Granny’s favourite book, The Bible, and an old rose in another attempt at creating a nostalgic image. This is an illustration taken from a short children’s story that I wrote and illustrated about a brother and sister, and the next door neighbours rather large pair of pants that have blown off her washing line!
Its the beginning of Apple season.
Shooting fruit when hungry can be tempting. MY BUBBLESITE

Someday I’ll be Granny Smith!
taken at Williamstown botanical gardens
The title references all those old crocheted doiles you can see in theredoing double duty as flowers and lichen. Really it’s my darling friend Janny’s garden paling fence, with her old-fashioned scrambling roses climbing up.
One of my Granny’s great flowers. A gift from a friend.
