This is the man who pretty much raised me as his daughter, my mom and dad divorced when I was really young and my mom and I lived with my grandparents, which means, when she was at work I was at home with my grandparents. He pretty much is my father/grandfather since I have no communication with my real father.

  • This photo is the one ive been looking for .. well since i guess i began my photography, I feel so glad to have captured it with family – this is my Dad holding my Niece Georgias hand.. • This is my grandmother and grandfather. This picture was taken to celebrate their wedding! / I am not sure of the exact year, but probably early 1930’s. / Any one who has looked at my pictures have seen their farmhouse and the porch swing. / They lived on a farm in northern Missouri. / Grandpa got up every morning to milk the cows, slop the hogs, bale the hay, plant the crops, and all the other chores that goes along with a farm. / Grandma got up to cook his breakfast, bake the bread, tend the garden, darn the socks, and when tv came along, kept up with her “stories!” / It was a much different time. Grandma did not know how to drive and had to rely on Grandpa to “take her to town” / I remember her first time in a pantsuit she was afraid someone would say she wasn’t a lady. / Such memories! / They survived alot, Grandma had breast cancer in the early 60’s and lived! / They are both with the Lord now, and I know they still watch over us! / Take care, and God Bless. LInda
