Shot at the trainstation in Aarhus, Denmark in January – a train was leaving the station, and as I walked up along the carts, I noticed this guy sitting there. I moved a couple of carts ahead, put the viewfinder to my eye, waited for him to get in the picture – and snap.
Early morning by the beach. My profile / / /
A planned get-together with a mate fell through. So instead my son and I went to North Narrabeen beach and took advantage of some magical light and conditions to capture the coast during winter time. / For a very long time this image was my favourite. I was just amazed at how much light was absorbed by the wooden planks, contrast that with the smooth silky water. First love, the love that clings to your heart forever, no matter how much pain it has caused, no matter how many tears have fallen, first love will never leave my soul. by Unknown /
Taken a few miles east of Leicester, near Allexton. Its that time in the UK, just before the wheat gets harvested – heavy heads beginning to nod gently under the weight of the grain, and the weather unable to decide whether it is summer or not, threatening to flatten the crop, just it is ready. Leicestershire is full of distant horizons like this, and the Barley is all but in now, much of the ground already having been put under the plough in readiness for the next crop.
Another rural Leicestershire image – at least it isnt Oilseed Rape, Wheat, Barley or Grass – I found something else instead! The location is just to the East of Barkby on the Eastern side of Leicester. The light on the oats, is mainly down to a recently finished bout of fine drizzle, and the droplets reflecting the sun breaking through.
This image was taking with a Slr Digital camera. / R.I.P Film
~Quote by Archimedes. The two love of my live :) / My lil girl is dancing with daddy…..this one really melts my heart, as im sure all other mummies out there can relate ;-) Looks awesome as framed print or canvas with the texture and added grain :)
Shot in the Sahara Desert, Libya near the Algerian border. These dunes never cease to amaze me! The colour at different times of the day are just superb. Nikon D300, 12-24mm f/4 at 12mm, f/9, 1/80sec, ISO 100. / . / / . /
