Here is a higher quality negative of a similar photo I submitted a couple weeks ago. The difference is that now the place is covered with graffiti. The place is still beautiful, but now it can’t represent nature untouched as we like to see it. Many of my favorite spots have had this fate in the local mountains. It slows me down as to returning to them for for better photos too.

The transcendental art of fire dancing, combined with a backdrop of stark, urban-industrial desolation. / The background represents the state of one’s life (like the inside of their mind) and the subject twirling fire represents the transmuting of this apathy of existence into the realization that there is so much more to life and the Universe than what is going on in their head.

Most graffiti artists, or artists in general should be able to relate in one way or another to this image. Not only is the girl hot, but the mask gives her so much more mystery behind it, and the skull makes you think twice about why the mask is really there, graffiti, or chemicals?
