STALKING TIGER Slowly through the grass / The tiger stalked his prey / His movement long and languid / In the middle of the day / The sun was high and bright / As a vivid burning orb / His body moving slowly / Less heat there to absorb / Gazelles were moving fitfully / Around the waterhole / Nervous eyes were flitting wildly / As the world they did behold / A movement in the distance / And the animals did jump / The nerve ends all a jangling / Each one with quivering rump / Then like avenging angels / The tiger now does pounce / Gazelles are scattering wildly / With a death like spinning dance / And one of them is slower / No longer held at bay / The tiger now triumphant / As it finishes its prey Phil Sanders (aka Brummieboy) / 5/4/07 Thanks for the wonderful poem Phil!

This tree root is on the northern periphery of our property. We’ve lived here for over 35 years, and it’s been here all that time, in exactly the same state you see it here. I marvel at its perfect heart shape and think it’s a little note from God to remind me of his undying love. I borrowed the title from the refrain of a hymn written by Father John Foley, S.J. / Here are the lyrics of that hymn: Dwelling Place / by John Foley, SJ I fall on my knees to the Father of Jesus / The Lord who has shown us, the glory of God. May He in His love give us strength for our living / The strength of His Spirit, the glory of God. May Christ find a dwelling place of faith in our hearts / May our lives be rooted in love, rooted in love. May grace and peace be yours in God our Father / And in His son. Grace looks at me with eyes of love and hope, as we explain to her that we will get medicines that will make her better. Grace is very ill and has intestinal worms. Here in developed countries If a child is sick with worms, a doctor will provide medicines to cure that child. they will get the best treatment possible. But in Tunga/Zuga, there is no Doctor and the nearest hospital is a grueling 40plus miles away. even then if the family has no money, the child will be refused treatment, except on rare occasions. Many Children here die from worm infection mainly caused by drinking polluted water. When the well dries up there is no choice. Thanks to your Prayers and financial donations. You have made it possible to help Grace. Please continue to pray for her, and help others in the villages just like Grace. My very first layers with photoshop…just my first steps but many things to come…I hope…I took a photo of a personnage created for le Jardin Botanique de Montreal.The dancer was over the water and the shot was taken at night,I cut all the black and add some texture.I’ve duplicated the dancer and did a mirror illusion so the arms would cross like the 8 of infinity.The lights inside the paper statue were magic!! / This would make a great card for celebrating friendship… / / /

This is Grace and she lives in Tunga/Zuga Village, deep in remote Nigeria. In December 2007, I uploaded Her Photographs and since then many people in Redbubble have been touched by her Beauty and illness. Through the kindness of some here on redbubble, We were able to purchase medicines to save her life. grace was dying from intestinal worms. This is because the village has no clean water. I spoke to our Volunteer worker today who is staying in the village, and he has informed me that Grace is now making a great recovery. Praise God. There are many Like Grace who die each year in agony. We are making a difference. Please pray and help us reach many more like grace. We need your gifts. It many be money, Skills, Talent, Prayer or simply sharing our work with others. Thank you to all of you who have donated and prayed for little Grace. She is now in good health and has made a great recovery. Praise God, I am so happy right now. Grace and other children who suffer so much Inspires me to work 12-14 hours per day sharing their plight with others and fund-raising.. I have not had the good fortune of ever having a salary for what I do. but God rewards me in many other ways. To see a child tat would have died now live and smile is wonderful. To empower the poor with more than just hope is what I live and work for. In Tunga/Zuga village, a remote village in Kebbe state Nigeria, there are so many children who are without ANY source of help. The village has no source of clean water, since their well collapsed in 2006. Intestinal worm infections, river Blindness, Chronic Diarrhoea, Malnutrition and other preventable diseases are killing and disabling many. We are making a difference and with your Prayers, Donations and support we can not only save their lives, refurbish the old school adn give them education. If it had not been for your prayers and donations for Grace, she would certainly have died. I am deeply thankful to you all. PLEASE READ THIS. Today I have been in communication with Tunga/Zuga Village, in remote Kebbe state Nigeria. In the past it was not possible to communicate directly with the Village Missionary. But Thanks to The Calvary Church in Abuja, They donated a Communications system and Our Missionary Pastor Jonathan called me. / The First thing he shouted was Grace is now completely well!. / Grace was very ill and would have certainly died, If it was not for some of you here on Redbubble who donated money for Medicines and continued treatment. God Bless you for your genuine Love and your giving. This is amazing Grace!. Her little body was infected with worms, that eat from the inside out. On our Charity website, You can see a clip of her actually vomiting worms. But today She is completely well. Also thanks you to Sharon from Australia who have saved the lives of the twins. Acrylic on oil painting canvas textured paper. Standard A3 I really didn’t have anything much in mind for this in concept, I just wanted to be unrestricted and let it flow in what ever direction I felt I wanted this to go in. I did have a reason for painting another self portrait. The group Bubbler Portraits is currently holding a challenge to paint a portrait of me and I am allowed to enter so I really wanted to attempt something new. I guess I ended up mixing a few different things I sometimes do in my paintings to end up with this result. When I finished it I wanted my beloved to know that I am always watching over him with my great love and prayers…that I believe completely in miracles and in the wonder and awesomeness of God…these were my feelings when I stepped back to view my work.
