He was given a body with all of the parts, / And was given an oversized heart. From the moment he saw her , she was his deliverence, / That dead Lil Zombie, the cute and lovely Temperance. He swooned and swayed, thought he’d pop a stitch, / Whenever around her, his voice lost it’s pitch. He planned and tried so often to say, / The words in his heart every day. Now if he knew how Temperance felt for him, / He wouldn’t have worry, nor feel so grim. Cause when she looked at him with her good eye, / Inside her cold heart was a loving sweet sigh. So there they are these sweet Lil dears, / All thats stopping their love is their silly fears.

Original Creation Date: April 23rd, 2006 Okay, part deux. This is a follow-up to Estranged. I purposefully tried to keep the style similar and tied it in with the poetry, which is by Damien Echols. (www.wm3.org) I watched as / the closet door / slid open, / slowly, / and out crept / a spindly man-thing / to dance in silent circles / next to my bed. Original was auctioned off at Skeleton Key in San Francisco. / Model: Aaron Gilmore / Photographer: Tessa Beebe / Charcoal on 90 lb. paper (Canson), freehand, 14” x 20” P.S. I friggin’ LOVE this one. Auction or not, I weep for the original.

/ __________________ Fictional digital painting made with Photoshop. / Creation Date: 02.11.2009 Dear little doll series… / POLLY / EUGENIA / MUFFIE / VALERIE / TIFFANY Since this is my first attemp to paint digitaly I thought to share with you that I’m feelng a little weird … huh… correction: I’m feeling very weird. For accuracy, I feel like one of my characters – my eyes are wide open (out of anticipation for what will happen next); my brows draw together and my mouth is stretch horizontally (laughs). It’s like the fist time I did upload my first painting, excactly one year back. It’s a very big suprise to me. I’d never thought that I will ever paint digitally – really, it just came suddenly before 2 … I don’t quite remember exact maybe 3 nights. Anyway, I felt that I need a “break” from my beloved brushes, paints and canvases. The most imporant, I want to clear my mind a bit from the Halloween series calendar cause I’d hated to make something that it won’t be inspired and absolute authentic from me. So it may be ready far long after Halloween… laughs… maybe it will be ready in Christmas time xxx Back to that night ➪ Of course I ended up to make my office like a bombed place with charcoals, pastels… Water and ink running below my keyboard and on the floor… just imagine. / / The good from all this destruction is a little face I did, a totally scarp face but I did love it from the first moment ♥ (and it looks like me too :) So much that I couldn’t leave it in the mess that was! Here you can see it: / ☯ So concluding, all the dollies of this series are based in this little one scrap face, always in the same position but each one of them has a different personality. All the names of the dollies are names from existing famous dolls. Ok I will stop talking now, / I’m leaving you view my work and I really hope you like it.
