Every now and then I like to “step outside” my boundary of usual subject matter and do something really different. This is one of those images. Captured outside the town of Central City, Colorado, I happened by this scene by luck, along with the other 2 cemeteries close by it. Long closed, these are the real deal “wild west’ cemeteries, long forgotten, long not seen. Looking like a scene out of the movie “Pale Rider”.....I had to photograph it. The ruts in the ground were still visible from where the old wagons used to carry the bodies up from the town. Quite an amazing place…. / Thoughts welcomed! —-John —-—-—-—-—-—-— / More of my work can be seen on my website at http://jdebordphoto.com / All artwork is © John De Bord, All Rights Reserved. We all have our demons, waiting, watching our every move. Waiting for that moment of weakness, the time to attack. Some of us have greater, more powerful demons than others. Thankfully my demons are pretty tame. -derekART Artwork done by: Derek Erismann

Model – Mishkamink I turned Mishka into Emily the Strange. Took a bit of work and some mad photoshop skillz, but I think the result speaks for itself. No, it’s not Gogo Yubari. Emily the Strange character copyright Rob Reger and Cosmic Debris Etc. Inc. / Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas

all models cleared by contract, all pictures, photoshop by Sandy Viktor Nys / This series where actually snapshots I took from Oksana. After a photo session she took a bath, but still wearing all the false hair. Ofcourse I asked her to pose again, telling me her stories without words. / / On the snapshot I put the big secret soft skin trick, painted in again details of eyes, nose and lips. Lighten white of eyes with dodge, darkened eyelashes with burn. / Masked out her background and put her on top of mixed scans from abstract pen drawings. / Made a copy of Oksana layer and put a diffuse glow filter on this layer. / Made several copies of both Oksana layers and adjusted them to each other with overlay, lighten etc. and opacity until I liked the color.

/ ... / A bit of an experiment. The addition of dots allows all shirt colour to show through making this image suitable for any colour (except the really dark ones). / I’ve seen people achieve the same effect on their designs with transparent colours but I don’t think RedBubble can print transparent colours properly and they go a bit blotchy. So this is an attempt at a workaround. Also available- /

Models – Trash Barbie & Midnight Poison Hot off the presses. Have yet to see the film shots from this set but this version can live here for now as a mini teaser. Think of it as unheard screaming. Clearly I watched Beetlejuice one too many times as a kid. / Inpsired by Richard Kadrey. Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas
