Every now and then I like to “step outside” my boundary of usual subject matter and do something really different. This is one of those images. Captured outside the town of Central City, Colorado, I happened by this scene by luck, along with the other 2 cemeteries close by it. Long closed, these are the real deal “wild west’ cemeteries, long forgotten, long not seen. Looking like a scene out of the movie “Pale Rider”.....I had to photograph it. The ruts in the ground were still visible from where the old wagons used to carry the bodies up from the town. / ... / A bit of an experiment. The addition of dots allows all shirt colour to show through making this image suitable for any colour (except the really dark ones). / I’ve seen people achieve the same effect on their designs with transparent colours but I don’t think RedBubble can print transparent colours properly and they go a bit blotchy. So this is an attempt at a workaround. Also available- /
