  • Right in the middle of Newtown is this huge and completely ruined building. Its been there so long and been so completely neglected for so long that the locals no longer notice it. The graceful old lines of the architecture had allowed this building to decay with style. Eventually some developer will come along and convert the site to lots of tiny apartments and all that will remain will be some funny old photos like this one. Taken with infrared film and finished off in photoshop. I love photoshop and I love infrared film. I hope that you the viewer will like to look at this small series of building photos.

  • New York City Hall, In HDR.

  • So I know there’s gotta be other people out there excited about the release of the new Batman Movie The Dark Knight, or is it just me? This is a tribute to possibly one of my favourite movies! This is also one of my first really serious attempts at creating some digital artwork in Photoshop. This is the result of me having a lot of time, sitting at home sick when I should be at work. The question is can you see Batman?? For this I started off with one of my pics of Melbourne, Australia from Southbank which was a HDR from 3 exposures. I then added in bats, flood lights, batman, the moon etc. and then once again a lot of tinkering in Lightroom to finetune :) This image has had over 5000 views Sales 1 Mounted Print 1 Poster Click here for my other images of Melbourne

  • This photo was taken on the streets of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This and other parts of the city were a movie set for the upcoming film Public Enemies. The film stars Johnny Depp and Christian Bale. As I walked the city street searching for interesting photos I came upon the real city library. I thought of Gotham City when I stared upon its design and lighting. Please View Larger

  • I wanted to re-create one of those “classic” scenes of New York in the roaring 20’s. Dug out some of my old (well, relatively) images of Times Square and picked up the mouse….. Did I succeed? The decision is yours……. Many thanks to the The Male Photographer group for the feature (September 2009). Many thanks to the Time-to-Watch-Clocks group for the feature (September 2009).
