This was originally a small acrylic painting I did on card. This is my character Alba who has a special affinity with flowers and can talk to them in their own language. These flowers are all gossiping about her as she walks past, unaware that she can understand every word they say.

I reckon this might be a great card for many occasions : Now I’m not one to gossip, but I’ve hear you’re having a special birthday…. / Now I’m not one to gossip, but someone told me you’re getting married….again! / Now I’m not one to gossip, but a little bird told me you haven’t been feeling well….. There’s a myriad of uses for this smart-alec bird. :-)
